Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun; I unfortunately had to bail out latterly hours before the event. Glad to hear everything went off without a hitch and everyone had an amazing experience.

As I stated before, the GK website will have a scenario debriefing page for this event. If you'd like me include a particular story from the event please PM me. Here's one of my memories, from the viewpoint of my character...
A local hunter to the area, Clem Clemson, had this to say during an interview: Me and JD was just out hunting on my own property, least ways I thought I was… guess I twern’t (was not). Anyways, I was out hunting with my cousin Joe Daniel, when all of a sudden we was accustomed (accosted) by a whole bunch of police. They was yelling and screaming and telling us to drop our beer and stuff. We, me and Joe Daniel, tried showing them our hunting permits, but they didn’t pay no-nevermind. They just wanted to lock us up for something… don’t know what, but something was going on. They kept telling us that they was looking for some people out there, but we told them that we were the only ones out there and that we was just looking for some geerafs to shoot (pronounced: gee•raff). Most people don’t know this, but geerafs stand about two feet tall and are related to the turkey. That’s why we was hunting them, cause they are related to turkeys and Joe Daniel says you can hunt them. Joe Daniel can do the geeraf call really well, and he was doing it like I never heard before. We did meet one fella (fellow) early on that told us there was some abnormality (abnormally) large geerafs a little ways down from where we was. We headed off in that direction, but then the police got us while we was walking. The police took us to this area where they was supposedly holding hunters while they asked us a bunch of questions. Joe Daniel and I answered everything, just the way momma always told us to do when the police ask questions. After a time, we became powerful thirsty and asked the head man if we could get some beer. And this is where the story turns sour, cause he tells us no. We said, “It’s in the Constitution!” He still refused and then said, “Where does it say that?” Joe Daniel passed the fifth grade, so he was only one year away from college. He’s got a lot of book learning that I don’t have cause I only made it as far as passing first grade… twice. That means I was in fourth grade, cause I didn’t know that 1+1=4, until Joe Daniel told me. I guess that higher math is something you learn in fifth grade, before you go to college. I told you he was a smart guy. Anyway, he (Joe Daniel) says, “It’s in section 33.” See, that law man didn’t think that Joe Daniel knew where is says that you must give a prisoner a beer when he is thirsty, but Joe Daniel knew. Anyway, sometime while we were there they bring in this other turkey hunter, only he don’t look like any kind of turkey hunter I ever seen before. They set him down a ways off from us and the head law man starts interpolating (interrogating) on him. He tells the police that he’s a hunter and they start jawing (talking) about this and that and how many people are there out there and so on, and so on. Just about this time, Joe Daniel and me get a powerful urge to get on out of there, so we starts setting up a fuss. About that time the head law man decided we wasn’t as bad a they all had thought and decided to let us go. After they gave us our guns back we high-tailed it out of there. We still don’t know what all the fuss was about.
Get your stories in quickly. Thanks.

Jeez, destrukto, did you get saddled with community service for another parole violation? Seriously, though, it's amazing what you can find on the side of the road.

parole violation.... I'd never do such a thing I did it out of the goodness of my heart and my desire to be of service to the community Everytime there's a good day/op for airsoft, no one has the day off... And when we have the day off for airsoft... it either rains or snows, often times both... such is life in the UP...

SBD's got some pictures up on our sight... none of the actual planned first game, I think we've only got the last 2 games. And not many pictures, because dialup = teh win. You can check em out at www.angelfire.com/mi4/teamsbd/gallery.html(pics all work for me, there's just rather large ;p)

Team Rat Pack here,
with this being our first op we've attended i was impressed with the time and effort involved. our group has mainly done indoor CQB games in the huge barn that one of our members has. and let me tell you we were totally geeked within the first 30 minutes of the first senerio.
since i was the one on the recieving end of the (LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW) harrasment, it was good to see how much joking around goes on at these ops. at first i was afraid it was going to be totally serious but it wasnt that at all.
as for snip, i hope i didnt hurt you too bad when i was giving you medical attention digging those bullets out, you must have been in drama in high school because your wining seemed genuine for a second i thought you were going to start to cry. ;D
but as for that second(capture the flag/really heavy cargo box) the teamwork that was shown by both the good and the bad guys was astounding. we took out the m249 with somewhat ease and once we found out where the bad guy base was the infiltration was definately a sight to see, 20 or so guys moving in on the base all in unison was amazing. but i will tell you being one of the people carrying that heavy box that was the most work ive actually done in months, thanks for the workout GK/ACO ;D
i wanted to give a thanks to team SOCOM for taking us under there wing and showing us the ropes of an op of this size, The Rat Pack looks forward to teaming up with you again in the future.
and of course i wanted to thank GK and ACO blah blah blah blah what the 10 other guys ahead of me said.
and good news i did get the PSG-1 working today so we'll have another sniper to deal with.
and i dont know how many people from our team asked you more experienced people questions, but i did want to give a team thank you for your patience and sharing of knowledge.
ALL OF US HERE WILL BE ATTENDING "BRIAR PATCH" AND "RED VENOM" SO HOORA
THE RAT PACK:KILL'EM ALL, LET GOD SORT'EM OUT!!!!!
