Event Description
Geist Kompanie and ACO's Detachment Delta have been cooking up some good operations for all you “wanna be” (hey, that’s me) operators out there.
This season’s first big operation is going to be a little different than most. Instead of the normal MILSIM operations this season’s opener is a LESIM (law enforcement simulation). The scenario is already written and is just waiting to be played out.
The departments represented in the scenario are FBI, BATF, Department of Homeland Security, State Police, and local Sheriff departments. You pick which law enforcement agency you want to represent, get your gear together, and join us for a day of yelling, shooting, confusion and mayhem.
To perk your interest I’ll drop two little tidbits. First, if you read the event details carefully you’ll notice that everyone is on the same team. How can that be? Well, everyone who registers for the event will be on the same team. That leaves a few people out… the event organizers. Yep, that’s right, Detachment Delta and Geist Kompanie are teaming up as BG’s (bad guys) for this one and oh, are we gonna be bad. Just think, the more good guys who show up, the better the chances of operational success. Really.
The second tidbit is that there are no outfit requirements for this operation. You can wear whatever you’d like. Think for a moment, do FBI and other law enforcement agents always show up to a scene wearing a uniform or BDU’s? No way. Sometimes they are called in cold, with no time to gear up. So why should you have to come in fully prepped. This should also make the game a little easier for those of you who are new to airsoft. Don’t worry about what gear you need to buy to fit in, just bring your eye protection, your airsoft gun and plenty of ammo.
As always we’re looking for those responsible players (18+) who are interested in having a fun, safe, and adrenaline filled day of simulations. I’ll be more than happy to answer any questions about the scenario as best I can. However, I will not give out the complete scenario until a few days before the actual event. Trust me… it will be a good one.
