You shouldn't have to worry about the limit.

Reminder-
Bring your own lunch. It looks like we will take a lunch break (you won't have to eat on the field), but you need to bring your own food.
Bring plenty of fluids. It is a large field which means you'll be running around, sweating, a lot. Hydrate or Die... as Camelbak says.
Make sure you bring your goggles.
Make sure your batteries are charged.

Sweet op. I was amazed how we all worked together to complete the missions and I had fun playing with everyone else. Everybody was helpful when I needed it and I have to give credit to everyone that was a medic for your bravery. Only sad part was getting only one kill and getting killed by my team .

Yeah no doubt on the medics, I got plucked in the head trying to revive a team member. Sorry Frostee about messing up the cards so bad when I took a dive in the swampy marsh going for a rescue.

In a word- "Outfrickingstanding"
Maybe it was just me, but that was definitely the most fun I have ever had at a game. Not because I got a lot of eliminations either, because I really didn't.
Having the "training session" prior to the game was true brilliance. Not only was it fun, but it put everyone into the correct frame of mind to play their part. Had the effort not been invested in that aspect of the game I am reasonably certain it would have degenerated into the typical force vs. force game.
I am still laughing to myself over the drunken hunters- Snip and Frosty. Having had to deal with them I really feel sorry for the police when they deal with uncooperative people. They played the part to the hilt and never left character in my presence. Even when I couldn't stop laughing at their antics. You really had to be there to appreciate how entertaining the encounter was. Picture Snip and Frosty dressed up in typical flannel and jeans hillbilly hunting garb carrying a six pack of "beer" (ICB rootbeer). While I'm screaming at them to put their weapons down and cooperate (frustrated to no end I might add), in unison they pull out their large white sheets of paper with "Turkey Permit" written on them. "YOU CAN'T ARREST US, WE HAVE PERMITS!"
I have nothing else to say, Priceless!
Special thanks goes out to Mandor. He was a very effective leader IMO. Can't thank him enough for the small amount of insight into the life of law enforcement. Watching him handle the attempted prisoner exchange was another highlight of the day. I won't bother to explain what happened because I can't do it justice with words. Maybe if we're lucky Mandor will share the story with the rest of you in the tales of valor area. It would be a worthy addition. ;D
I'd like to thank some of the teams SOCOM worked with during the scenario. SBD, Bill and his group from 21CA, Meekrob and his guys (Grand Rapids Recon?), and especially the new guys on the scene from Ratpack. A lot of camaraderie and a remarkable amount of teamwork all from teams not used to working together. Just excellent.
And probably most importantly special thanks to all of ACO and GK! Top notch show gentlemen. You really did well IMO. As I'm sure everyone else does, I really appreciate you guys putting the time and effort into hosting that game! Thank you. ;D

Wow ... what a great day! I'll leave it to others to tell the story of what took place at the event. I would just like to thank those who really contributed to the day's success. God, thanks for the great weather. It was raining all day where I live, but the event field was dry all day... awesome. Mandor, thank you for volunteering your excellent training and leadership skills. It made the day a lot more realistic for a lot of us and introduced some new techniques for gameplay. Ryan, thanks for helping coordinate this event. Without your good ideas and quick response to issues this wouldn't have gone as smoothly as it did. KungFu, thanks for helping with all the little things that needed to be done. Thanks to the ACO (Detachment Delta) guys who pulled together the props and land, and who helped set up the field. Thanks to my own Geist Kompanie teammates for creating props, writing medic rules, generating ideas and furthering the effort. Finally, a special thanks to everyone who came to the event, with very special thanks to those who had to drive half a day to get there. You all really made the day great. The teamwork and sportsmanship were par excellence (that's a good thing . I couldn't have asked for a better group of individuals to play out this scenario with... thank you. The Geist Kompanie website will have a scenario debriefing page, where a summary of the scenario and the results of the event will be posted. If there is a special memory about the LESIM that you would like preserved there please drop me a PM with your story. I will correct grammar and punctuation as needed, but otherwise your thoughts will be included "as is". And if you liked this one... wait till you see what else we're cooking up.

First, I would like to congratulate GK and ACO for a very well run and fun op. Everyone that I talked to had a blast, and thought you guys played your parts great. It was my first op, and it was a hoot. Frostee and Snip, were the best at being annoying drunks; Jason, (sorry, I don't know I'm too lazy to spell a full word out. Please mock me. callsign) shoulda gotten an award for patience. He was captured VERY early and he never broke character while being questioned. The addition of missiles, ammonium nitrate, weapons crates, rocket launchers, was an unexpected obstacle, but made the game more fun. The hostage situation was an unexpected twist, but Gabe came up with it and almost pulled it off. I'd like to thank all the good guys, u were fun to work with. They had lots of good suggestions, no one was negative, and they played their parts as well. Ya know, i didn't recieve one substantiated complaint as far as use of force (except the bamboo, rubber hoses, and the phone book....) Everyone did great with the rule of engagement. I could go on, but I wanted to say thank you for letting me be the leader and again congratulations for a very fun op.

What frostee said.... ;D,everyone did a great job on the op cops and militia. Its was fun to listen to the lawmen ordering people to comly with them of in the distance and the fact that we keep hearing sirens if the distance(have no idea where/why ) add to the hunted by the law feel. Also snip playing dueling banjos helped us get in to character and drove everybody nuts... ;D There was a small amount of jackass behavior, but nothimg the cant be fixed..had a really good time ,thanks to all those who worked on and participated in op first strike .It was a great way to start the airsoft season.out Photos coming asap... Also where where you luke ?definatly work have got the longest ride prize... ;D
