- 16+ or 18+ age restriction.- Vouching System. Players who are under the age requirement for a particular event. - Kill rag requirement for playing. No kill rag, no play. (As if someone walking in the open with a weapon slung and their hands up isn't enough...) - Zero Tolerance. Constantly lighting up dead people? Not calling your hits? Breaking rules or subverting authority because you can? Congratulations. You're gone. Plain and simple. This sounds good to me. I wouldn't use zero tolerance without kill rag requirements as it can be hard to tell through brush if the player lolly-gags (which shouldn't happen if it's an +18 with vouching event). Had a lot of fun fighting in the village during the first half of the game. Was my first time wearing my BGS coat into battle and it really helped with the cold. The smoke grenades were pretty cool. Thanks to the two guys that helped me up that hill to the NATO respawn, I swear every patch of land I stepped on gave out ;D . One of our guys in PCC was a medic for NATO and most of the time I saw him he had either been shot or was having weapon trouble. Besides him I think I only saw one other medic (after Black Talon was moved to green). Helping Marshy light up some dude that was trying to flank a squad of our guys was also fun. In all it was just fun to be at another event and I look forward to the next. Can't wait to see some pictures. @triggs: I have nothing else to say I wondered who it was that shot at them. I was surprised at first because the rounds were flying past me. I just stared at them as they were taking rounds. I thought I was going to become a hostage because the rest of the team appeared to be back on the ridge. I think that was the first of multiple times that I was bleeding out in the middle of the village, and I'm pretty sure it was at the same building.

Overall I had fun and if Immortal decides to go back out, I’ll surely follow. Setting aside hit calling and overkilling (both of which nobody yet has been exaggerating) my biggest complaint was all the newbies on the green side. I was one of the green medics so most people were calling their hits around me because they knew I’d be able to revive them no problem. And I was playing medic rules correctly (randomly drawing cards without looking, and timing with a watch how long it would take to revive someone) which was fun for the most part except for the fact that that was ALL I was doing.
During the first half I got stuck with the bunch of greens that bunched up in the city and refused to move forward no matter how you urged them. Long story short, newbie gets hit, I drag newbie close to building so he won’t get hit again, I medic newbie, another newbie gets hit, rinse, repeat. Had we been taking ground that would have been fine and dandy but it was seriously annoying reviving that many guys nonstop when we weren‘t doing anything except stand there.
The rest of the day was pretty similar since newbies like to let themselves get pinned and shot up. Maybe that was why I only had to pull the trigger SIX times the whole day!
I’d also like to thank Canto for shooting at a few of us to urge us forward. At first I wasn’t very appreciative of it (I thought it was kind of a ballsy move) but it worked and sure enough he got us up that hill. So thanks Canto for doing what evidentially needed to be done.

I was playing on Tan's Alpha Squad, and I have to say, this was a pretty good way to spend a Saturday. I didn't personally notice much problem with hit-calling, but the rest of my squad and the rest of my team were having trouble with people not calling their hits. I think my favorite part of the whole game was when my squad and I charged up the DPRK ridge and held off that little section.
The two things that sucked that absolutely nobody but myself was at fault for was the fact my SAW broke down, and I lost both of my pistol's gas mags. Definitely will be back though!

I think I was near you when your SAW broke down. That was the begining of the 2nd half right? I was hit in that small village, revived, then I remember someone threw smoke and I followed the rest of my friends up the hill.

I think you were in amongst them I have nothing else to say) ended up with Aztec and his Barret M99, we both proceeded to clean out the city. The hit calling (ehem lack of) was annoying, but I got to see what my rifle could do. You like?

I gave my camera to be used for pictures... but alas none were on it. I'll check my camcorder for video tomorrow, but again, no idea if it was actually used or not.

as commander of DPRK i would say it was difficult in the first half getting the newer players to move. I still had fun though and all those who don't plan on coming back, I believe that is harsh judgement. FLAK really tries to put on good events and even though this game may have been flawed please do not base all their games on it. Cerberus was held here and so was the rest of the flash fire series all of which were great games.
In my opinion it may have been a bad idea to make a headliner series game open to first timers. This seemed to cause a lot of problems for both the nato teams and moderators and on behalf of the DPRK team I apologized that my team was not calling their hits. That alone can reallly make the game unfair and I wish there was more i could do about it. However, do not base youjudgement of all games held at this field on this one because i realize may not have been a great game but as Canto outlined earlier that the rules are changing and hopefully any doubting player will give FLAk another chance to host a good game.

There will be pictures. I wasn't able to take many during the day, but there were photographers out there. Just be patient, it's only been a day. As for video, I shot several hours worth and once I get my editing suite up and running again (or my backup running in a week or so), I'll begin on this video.

Honestly I feel cheated......I have to openly say I'd never consider another flashfire game. I love Bangor, great times have been had on the field, hell I had some good times yesterday at Flashfire 4. But here's the bad, and I'm not kidding, this was worse than any other......ok not ANY game I've ever been to. FAH, SFOD, or previous Bangor games. In all my games I have NEVER seen hit calling (or lack there of) as bad as yesterday. I will have to agree with Triggs. While I did have a fun time trying out a new venue with my fellow FAH teammates, I don't think I will be going to another Flashfire game. I have never experienced such blatant lack of hit calling at any Airsoft event I have ever been to. I have a gun which shoot 15 rounds per second at the 410fps limit. It reaches and reaches with a fairly decent amount of BBs in a small amount of time. I would watch 5 to 10 BBs hit and bounce off several green players, and they would continue playing as if they had never been hit. There were also many occasions where I could physically see the people getting hit flinch with pain, duck behind cover, and continue on playing. I honestly got tired of wasting my ammo on too many people who wouldn't call their hits, so I left after the first game. What makes Airsoft fun are the people who hold true to the honor system of the sport. If you get hit, you call it. It doesn't matter if it was from close quarters leaving a massive welt, or if it was from across the field and just glances off you. I know there are some people who feel it isn't a hit if it doesn't hurt. That is not the case. If you can't keep with the honor system the rest of us play by, please go play paintball where you won't be able to cheat the system so easily. To those who played fairly, thanks for coming out and playing. For those who lied and cheated, please do us all a favor and find a new hobbie. Canto: Thank-you for putting on this event! I know I sound annoyed and even a little upset, which I am, but I have nothing against you or the other refs. Your field was well kept and fun to play on. I appreciate you all doing everything you could to make this event as fun for everyone as you could, unfortunately, there were just too many people who made that impossible. My personally highlight of the game was sneaking from way back in tan's territory up side of the field to by where we all entered and then taking out 12-15 green guys in the city and nearly clearing out the entire city. Unfortunately, I ran out of ammo before I could attempt to go after the rest.
