Arg I am getting a bad feeling about this. Anyhow, I have a 8 person tent as well for staying on the property over night.

I'm definitely in. I'm not big on camping, but I have a 3 man tent that comfortably fits 2 and I can be the support vehicle for the convoy.

Hello, I follow your board from time to time but have yet to post anything. (Yeah that makes me a lurker I guess) If this weekend is still a go, I could add another 2-5 players to the roster. Mike and Clayton of WTS fame know me pretty well if you need any character references. If one of the guys running the event could get ahold of me with directions to the site that would be great. (I can find my way to Mio) You can e-mail me at neve@pathwaynet.com .

Glad you've all managed to behave during my absence. Since you're all still interested even with the smaller player count the event is still [glow=red,2,300]ON[/glow]. Might be a slower paced day but aah well, I'm sure it'll still be fun. We always complain we never get enough time to check out other peoples gun or hang out so I think this will solve all problems and give us a nice 100 acres to play on. Which is going to RULE! I know I can't wait. I'll give out full directions later this week and if you have any questions you'll need to ask me before FRIDAY as that's the day Ballista and I (plus family) go up there. Just a couple things I forgot to add earlier: 1 - From what I understand we will not be able to have any fires going so doh..hopefully we'll be able to figure out something. Or...just beat up Minky, take his Surefire tac light and illuminate the whole forrest. 2 - While the cabin does have a bathroom w/ shower the use of it will be VERY limited due to some recent problems. So...if you have to wander off and ehem..get down with nature be sure to check the spot first. I'll be dammed if I have to pull out thorns from yer behind. *shudder* 3 - Like I mentioned before, if you want to camp out in the wild feel free. I'll try to get a big tent also so we'll have plenty of room. There are hotels nearby in town for those of you that love comfort and the warmth of a soft cosy bed. 4 - Very important this one: No Drugs or Alcohol of any kind please. 5 - Use of aluminum foil alien mind control blocking helmets is encouraged as there have been reports of several UFO sightings in the area and possible abductions. (Ask Ballista) Echo, if you're interested in coming to the event you'd be more than welcome. Might not be the best event in the world but eh...any airsoft is good airsoft!

I don't see what the problem is with a limited number of people, as long as we have good objective oriented missions. Regular deathmatch, Viking's Tactical Wonderland style, is out of the question. Our "cabin" is actually a doublewide trailer, and is surrounded by a nice flat clearing about the size of Viking's back woods. So yes, there's enough room for a few people who wish to camp - just keep in mind the bathroom and shower logistics... ... Anyway, the more people on our property, the less likely aliens will choose to land there. ;D Go ahead, laugh all you want...EDIT: There is a big sign in town that shows the daily forest fire hazard, so a camp fire will probably be possible if we're careful.

I plan on mounting him to my back and giving him my SVI so you all better watch yo selves suckas!
Edit: Psst, you won't get abducted!

Hrm.... I'm still trying to decide if I'll be going or not. I'd like to go, but I'm in kind of the Newman frame of mind of not really wanting to anymore. Being broke doesn't help much either, seeing as I'd need to buy supplies and whatnot... Not to mention I really don't feel like driving all the way up to Mio, playing airsoft, getting probed by aliens, playing airsoft some more, then driving all the way back to Adrian. Plus I have no idea where my tent and sleeping bags are anyway. Sorry guys, but as of now I'm gonna say I'm 75% sure I won't be making the historic trek up to Mio for the first annual "Hado's Alien Baby Lovefest & Airsoft Jamboree". I'll make a final decision as the date draws closer and some more concrete plans are ironed out. If I don't end up going, be sure to get some good pictures of the airsoft raid on the alien mothership for me.

Ahhh...they're dropping like flies.
If you dont want to go, thats your decision, but....what if you're passing up the best weekend of airsoft that could ever go down, wouldnt you kick yourself if you didnt come.
I'm sure those of us that are going, will have a major amount of fun, and I FEEL that its our duty to rub in all the great details about the skirmish.
Camping in tents....you city folk...

Bah, You too Minky?
*sigh*
I knew I should have just cancelled this a few days ago. It was pretty bad with the number of players we had going, but now with less it's probably not even worth the trip.
I'll think things over tonight. I know some of you are really looking forward to this but it might be better if we saved it for another time. A time were we can get at least 20 people to show up for sure.
I have to say I'm a little bit surprised by the lack on interest. When I first mentioned the 100 acre lot a couple months ago everyone was very eager to go play there now when it comes down to going no one is up to it. Bit pissed off too, but oh well.
