Or you just suck it up and make sure you have a good pair of goggles. If you do decide to use a paintball mask and want to paint it as Newy here has make sure you use flat colors with a after coat of clear that will make it more dual. Being plastic it has more reflective surface and it being flat will make it more defined against leaves/shrubs.
You could always use camo paint on your face, but do not what I did last game; I some how seemed to wipe a good amount into my eyes when wiping sweet from my forehead. While it didn’t sting all that bad everyone thought I was stoned because of my blazing red blood shot eyes. Though, I personally think it was do to my boots being tied so tightly all the blood rushed into my head, but that’s my theory.

I wear a paintball mask and despite its discomfort and unattractiveness, I know I'm gaining a higher degree of safety (eyes, ears, teeth, etc), and perhaps a bit of post-battle comfort (i.e. - less head welts).
This post edited to fall in synch with post deletions done by mods or admins. And now back to "Pooh Corners" ;D.

When it's too hot for my heavy "tactical" balaclava, I usually wear a loose ski mask. I've been shot in the face many many times with an upgraded gun at a distance of under 20ft. You really should have some kind of protection there. EDIT: Sorry about delaying the topic, yes, back to pooh or whatever.

Yeah, I've been considering getting a mouth guard. Don't want to get a tooth shot out... Then again, I try to keep my mouth shot so as not to attract flying pests.. Whether they be living or plastic. Edit: Newman, does the masterkey make yer gun front heavy? Probably light as hell since it's Korean, but just wondering.

I apologize forthe lack of updates, our cable modem is fried so we're waiting till Monday for Comcast to get out here and look at it again. Stuck at the library now in ugly 640x480 once again. *shudder*
Now on to the event, I really thought there would be more interest in this. It's not every day you get to play on 100 acres. Just wondering if you guys still think its worth the trip..11 guys on a 100 acre lot means we might not even run into eachother at all.
Aaah well, gimme yer thoughts, I'll be back on Monday hopefully.

"I'm back from Petoskey!" *door creaks* ...silence... "Mooseboy the Pineapple of Death has cometh!" *Bigmack coughs* Ok, ok, so I'm back. I'm really interested in going, my parents think it's a good idea (camping...you?...really?). I think I already have it cleared for work, too, but I'll check on Sunday anyhoo. By the way, KMGor, I don't know what SHADOW (guy who reviewed it on Arnie's Airsoft) was thinking! My gun feels like Clayton's M4 with M203/flashlight/sight...!

I want to go even if there are 4 of us. I didn’t battle the wicked witch of blockbuster for those days off for no reason! And who the heck would pass up 100 acres? !
If only 11 people show up that’s fine, we can make boundaries…

well sorry guys, me and bret are not going to be able to make it next weekend, we couldnt get the time off work. someone else had already taken the whole weekend off and that just kinda leaves us back in the dirt.
but the good news is that my freind nate is coming home from the marines today for 15 days and he would like to give airsoft a try, so if there is another skirmish going on somtime you can probobly count me, bret and nate in.

Hey guys, are we even having this skirmish? Can anybody other than Viking, Hadoken, and Ballista *definitely* come? They signed me up to work on Sunday and I need to know if I should get somebody to work for me or not.

ok, guys...
I have been checking with Team Draconis and it boils down to this: If it was on the 20th we could maybe make it, however there is another event on the 13th so we cannot make it that weekend.
Sorry, --Severa
ps: We do also have another commitment on the 20th, so I am not in anyway saying to move the event just for us. If this site becomes open again for an event in September, hopefully we will be able to go then. August is out. ;D
