Alright this sounds awesome and I can see we're putting some thought into making this a great Op.
But I see one daunting problem...
[now you may have found some amazing way to remedy this]
...everytime that there are more than two factions (i.e. special forces in black, freelance runnin' a muk, etc...) it always starts off great then turns into a big butt *bleep* People start getting ticked off, start shooting whoever is closest and all coherent strategy is lost.
Now from what I see with these factions is that you could separate them into 2 teams by colors (or armbands, yada yada) and have different objectives for each sub-faction. [just a suggestion] (i.e. Germans have to XXXXX while no one else knows the secret code to get into YYYYYY)
Just something to think about. But years ago, two sides with simple objectives, and plenty of people to shoot at was by far the most fun. Again I will probably be signing up a bunch from my team and look forward to a great Op guys.

Hey Viper, Yes we do have a "miraculous" solution to the inherent problem... however with that said it is a MILSIM event and will require and least some conceptual thought by the players... or atleast the ability to follow a in event ranking structure even if they don't think it's the perfect choice being made at the perfect time *cough**real military *Cough* Anyways thanks for the comments and the sign ups are still rolling in; and I look forward to many more. We now are down to 2 available faction leader positions. Intimidator

I am going to do this for an event were holding. I think each groups patch should be different. Like on the bottom it should say want group you were in.
Asian Coalition all the way.

You know the first rule of combat? Shoot them before they shoot you.

mopedman are you talking about each faction?Because I'm pretty sure your required to wear your factions flag. (Correct me if I'm wrong I may have mixed that up with something else.)
OR
Are you suggesting each sub-group within the faction wears a specific patch? IE., seals and marines wear different patches in addition to the aforementioned flag?
EDIT: I double checked and flags are required for this event. This raises for me a question. Which flag does the asian coalition wear. Being that they are a coalition and not a singular country?

The asiang coalition will have the choice of Chinese, Japanese, or Vietnamese Flags. There will be no other tabs; but there will be tapes (Name tape and faction tape) "Blank Blank of US Marines" etc.

Does anyone else think that DPM woodland and US woodland are going to be a tad hard to tell apart in the field?

Yup, but it's milsim and so it'll be the player's job to tell the targets apart.

Hi there, just wanted to give a heads up. It seems my small team *of about 6-8 people* who like to get together on sundays right now are looking into this even. It seems it might be a tad too MILSIM for our blood to start off with in the MiA. I do believe our final decision is going to drop around how well we fit in during the HUGE game that is being planned *at least I hope its still green lit* this May! Most if not all of my little group will be there and we look forward to meeting people so hopefully it will drop well and we will turn right around and sign up for this party!
Also a p.m. to where a group of about 8 of us would fit in well faction wise would be fantastic!

Nameless, Ghast is completely right... MILSIM is a simulation of real world operations... you can't just ask the enemy to wear a more flashy uniform Gorfinger, Your team can fit in pretty much wherever you would like, but I suggest that you find out as soon as possible because slots are filling up. You also have to make sure that all of you can meet the camo requirements for that team. Update: Event 1 Posted, and faction leaders have nearly finished choice turn-ins... so event two will be coming in the next week or so. Signups are continuing, and we have players coming from as far as florida and california to join us. Keep the sign up's coming! Regards, Intimidator

He told me about 90 yesterday in a PM.
Also, I signed up for the Korean Army, and I'm wondering, should I should get a North or South Korean flag patch?
