Sounds great man. I hope everything works out. I will most likely attend. Are there any facilities or is it all woodland combat?

Will there be a sectioned off safe zone where I can sleep without fear of getting shot? If so, count me in!

Hey Guys,
Yes there will be designated safe zone's for resting and recouping. There will be *some* facilities on type, but for the most part it is an outdoor operation.
If you are interested I need you to PM me so I can get your registered. Canto should be posting more details about that soon.
Thanks Again,
Intimidator

You know the first rule of combat? Shoot them before they shoot you.

I have never done a Milsim before but I would love to get out there. I won't know for sure untill after the first of the year if I can go, if of course that early enough to still get in. Do you know anything about camo or gear restrictions? tac vests and what not?

I find it interesting you've got the SEALs in ACU. Would it not be more correct to have them in 3 color desert?

The reason for that is simple disseminating amongst groups. There are only so many different types of camo for the multitude of factions involved. Seals will have the option of wearing a black shirt with ACU pants if they choose.

I would have made the British wear DPM, and the SAS wear Desert DPM. The one problem I see is that you've got so many different groups, target identification and team grouping will be a nightmare. You've got greens and tans that would be on the same side. You've got 3 different groups wearing black tops, and two different groups wearing brown. Now, I'm not saying that it wouldn't work, but it will be very difficult and will probably result in friendly fire. Now, if this is part of the effect and ambiance of the game that you're going for, fine. If not, you may want to reconsider having that many different groups and camo configurations.
Also, if this event comes together, I will for sure attend. I would recommend though, if you can, try and hold a smaller op before this. Make it invite only if you want, but I wouldn't try an op this big out on a field that no one has ever played at before.
I realize that this game is over a year out, but I'm just trying to give you some things to think about before the day gets here and you're overwhelmed with stuff going on.

Thor,
I gladly take all input from all players. We have thought this out and the camo scheme is intentional, just as the new field is intentional. There will be Photos (On Ground, Satellite, Aerial) that will be gradually put out to factions as per our schedule, and at the event all factions, down to fireteam leaders, will have actual maps of the property to scale for navigation. We *May* bring the upper echelon members of each group to the playing area prior to the event for an in-person leadership brief and a walkthrough of each individual factions area.

Oh, well never mind me then. I'll just go play in the corner by myself, I have nothing else to say.

About the age limit... I will be a month too young for this as it is, and I'd like to come with friends who would also be too young. Would you look at individual cases to determine if I/them/we are fit to play, or is it tough luck? (Unless the age limit is lowered)
EDIT: *2010* Actual date, or "simulated" date? If actual date, forget my first question.

That is actual date. We are in the process of negotiating with insurance companies; if we can get it waived down to 16 we will do so, but that is the best we can do... we also are requiring that those under 18 show the strong urge to be active and positive additions to the player list. If you are interested in signing up, please PM me or get ahold of me on AIM... or if you have another messenger, PM me with your name and I will get ahold of you.
