Different color arm bands for the teams wouldn't be a bad idea.

Different color arm bands for the teams wouldn't be a bad idea. What is up lately with so many people asking about Arm Bands. The purpose of MILSIM is to be realistic and arm bands take away from that so much. Airsofters avoid arm bands as much as possible.

Despite what some seem to think, it appears you have put a lot of thought and pre-planning into this already Intimidator. I for one am excited to hear more about this. Friendly fire may be an issue, but realistically it usually is.
How many participants have you envisioned for this Op?

I have a question: If this is MilSim how come the different factions aren't using their real camouflage and just what seems to be randomly chosen camouflage with no actual idea for team colors. As Thor said earlier you have a lot of camouflages that are gonna look the same and its gonna get confusing. You're going to have a lot of friendly on friendly.
Example: USA - Marines = Marpat (Woodland) - SEALS = Woodland BDU - Delta Force = ACU
British - Royal Marines = DPM (Woodland) - SAS = DPM w/green sweaters (Woodland)
Australia - Marines = DPM (Woodland) (Or even auscam if you think anyone can get their hands on it) - ASFU = DPM (Woodland)
Germany - Army = Flectarn (Woodland) - GSG9 = Flectarn (Woodland) (Possibly with Kommando smocks)
(I am not sure if these last three are the other team I just assumed) Russia - Army = Desert (Tan based Camouflage) - Spetsnaz = Black BDU
Korea - Army = Desert - KSFU = Black BDU
Asian Coalition - Army = 6 Color Desert - ACSF = Urban Digital
See thats just an example of how you could do it. See how I kept the sides seperated color-wise. It seems you're worried about the same side being able to tell each other apart ,but really it doesn't matter if a green side player can tell if they are Marines or SAS as long as he can tell they are green, what matters more is if he can determine they are not green.
Just a suggestion.
P.S: GSG-9 is a Police force. German Military Special Forces is the KSK.

I've been away for so long. This event sounds like a good way to get back in. Now I've looked over every post and haven't seen an exact date for the event. All I saw was 2010 and age as of June 1st. I don't care to much for playing in the winter, so if this event is going to happen late summer, early fall, count me in. If intimidator or anyone else has this info, pm please.

I think its actually gonna happen in 2010. So if you want your comeback to be sooner than that games should start to pick up soon.

Hey Intimidator, This event sounds fucking kick ass, thank god there is a Russian faction. I wish there was a Czech Republic faction, but at least there's the Commies. Although this is quite early, but at least it shows that it will be solid and fucking sweet. I really hope this has a fucking kick ass outcome, I hope more events are like this, more well planned and so forth, mostly because the last Op I went to. I wasn't that impressed because so many people were just fucking around. A good amount of people were switching sides, people weren't calling there hits, and friendly fire up the ass, and half of the people did not even follow the rules or objectives. Don't get me wrong I still had fun, it just wasn't that great when people are fucking around like that. I just don't like going to events where people cheat like that or just being bitches. And no offense to the young ones, but I like the age restriction.

On topic: How close are we to getting some intel?

Tweek,
Intel should be coming out in the nect week or so, I've been putting it together, but have had very limited access to the internet lately due to my remote location in Iraq. However, I will be posting it up soon. I will check all my PM's later today and respond to them all/update the roster. Thanks for everyone's comments and continued input.
Intimidator
P.S. Intel will be including atleast 1 satellite image of one of the AO's.

It sounds badass, if the player count is high I will be there. You have plenty of time to plan for a hell of an event. Very exciting.
