Yea, our team messed up for sure by not staying the night. The second day sounded like a lot of fun.

Damn Conners, you sure are a flexible little fella aren't you ? Man, if I could do that I would never leave the house!!!!!! Are you talking about when I pulled my vest off, ripped out a peice of wood and crawled through the newly made (and quite small) hole in the wood wall by the compound? I almost wish I had that on camera..either frame-by-frame pics or video. If you are, ha ha yeha. I got some attention for that one. I think I was with Dahm, and CQBR was up in the church with the "WTF? are you doing?" look on his face, then he realized what I was up to. I also want to say thanks to all that have given me fedbakc on my Splinter Cell Scenario. I have talked it over with the team, and I think we may have a new trademark game. Only problem, is you'll really only see it when we get chances to play at night. Sadly, that doesn't happen too often. To all who didn't spend the night, well, now you know what you missed. Now you know what happens at night with SFOD. We put out some pretty kickass games.

^ Yeah that was funny. I was sitting there laughing and Someone said:"Who's that?, and what's he doing?" then someone else said "He's SFOD, he can do that" (ie:rip the fence apart and crawl through)

I was up with CQBR in the church laughing about it too. Next time I'll hopefully be staying for a night game or two, sounds badass.

I wouldn't do that at a full scale op. We dont need the "newbies" following suite and doing that everywhere. Good times those were. That 'lil stunt got me up in the police station and gained me 3 kills. I'd say that's more than worth it. "He's SFOD, he can do that" <----Priceless! *EDIT* Mod's, could a new title possibly be in order? Didn't you stay the night Dahm? I know you were there both days..

I have loved all of the S.F.O.D. games in the past but I did not like this one at all. I know it's my opinion and I'm not trying to push it on anybody but the whole using gold to buy armaments or tools of destruction sounds like a cool idea but it got executed poorly, not by anyone specifically just it didn't turn out very well. I was on the Coalition side and we supposedly nuked the city but it only killed half of Blackwater or something like that and then we were refunded the money and then we weren't so it just seems like for airsoft that kind of thing gets a little to crazy or out of hand. And I was the kid with the two huge bleeding welts on the side of my face and someone on Blackwater was clearly not obeying their engagement limits, the game was on Saturday and I still have two huge marks on my face and neck. I have had airsoft injuries before but this is ridiculous. And once again thanks to S.F.O.D. and anyone else who helped set the game up and helped man the field.

Task Farce: Iris - Edit: I had a giant flame written out, but it's not even worth it. You've already ruined your own reputation. Thank you Tex, I believe those were the guys that lit up my face because I know SpyOps and when I got hit I didn't recognize anyone of them.

Those welts looked really bad. If you aren't going to obey your engagement limits, you should at least not aim at the persons face and neck. Do you know who it was? Whoever it was should definitely get punished or something.

Speaking of engagement limits, I got a few nasty hits that were no way in hell obeying engagement rules. I know what 350ish feels like, and I got blasted a few times from very close...too close IMHO.
The following doesnt have anything to do with BD II specifically, but I feel it needs to be addressed now, and since many are reading this thread daily, I'll put it here.
Whenever stuff like this happens, this is the kind of serious matter(other than perosnal injury) that justifies a ceasefire. In an event like yours Deathdealer, had you called a ceasefire, you would have found out who shot you soo close and we'd have been down there with the chrono to find out if he was within engagements. If not, we either retag, eject, or make sit out for a while. To my knowledge, we have never ejected someone from the game, and I don't ever want to. It's just not a pretty situation. But I have absoulutely no problem giving somone a hotter tag, or making them take a timeout. We don't take safety lightly, and like I've said before, when engagements get seriously f'd up, we take the hit. Not the guy who got shot or the guy who did the shooting.
Also, since I am thinking about it, we do have a some PTW users in our community, and there have been more and more comming out to our field lately, so I will say this: PTW useres who get caught switching out to a hotter cylinder after chrono, we'll just stick you with our hottest tag no matter what. Save yourself the hassle and just follow rules. Now, I am not calling anyone a cheater, but merely throwing it out there. Lion Claws events have this little rule in play, and I believe it's a good one. Only we're not going to be soo strict as to only allow you one cylinder on our field.
Now, there is one, and ONLY ONE situation where I see no problem in a PTW cylinder change in play, and that is if you downgrade. Knief had to do this when his battery died. Even did it right in front of me. Swappd out his battery, and put in a not as hot cylinder so it would cycle propery with the other battery, since it was not another 12v that he put in his rifle. The way I see it, his power dropped and with hot tag already, he has nothing to worry about, he'll still be in the right, so long as he still obeys the engagments set by the tag already on his gun (at elast untill a recrhno) so it wouldn't create any problems with other players ans such. And I know he's the last person you'd ever see breaking the rules. All he'd have to do, is have one of us rechrono and give him a different tag if neccessary.

Lions Claws events have banned the use of red cylinders all together. Reason is simple, they are dangous and people swap cylinders after crono, anyone caught using a red is gone. Anyone shooting over 398fps with a gold cylinder is gone. Lions Claws doesn't play games about this, and neither should SFOD, or any other field. Swaping out a blue cylinder for a red after crono, would be like me switching to my winter sping in the M700 and making it shoot 800fps on a 75degree day. Simply put, there is no need for it! Personally, I'm for banning red cylinders all together. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - One another note: Rats and I had a great battle at the top. I saw BW getting taken out, and I charged up.. I wanted some action! There is Rats shooting everyone, and one of the BW guys is lieing down in the field, so I use him for cover. Thanks Team Iris Too bad I was using .27g 8mm's as they were flying all over and didn't have the punching power through the trees. I got about 6 shots off before they finally got me. Good fire fight! Rats, your lucking I didn't have my rifle.

I agree Sky about the rifle. But you were a sneaky bastard. I never saw you lay down behind that guy. But when I asked him if he was hit, he was acting hinky so I shot him with the shotty. He called it and got up and there you are. Mr sneaky sneaky. Thank god Eagleye had his SPR cause you run fast I have nothing else to say. I was pumpin out rounds from the shotty. Then I reached for the P99. Your lucky Eagleye got you first ... Skypilot you danced pretty good when he got you in the thigh... That was one of the funest firefights all day. You missed the ones on Sunday

Maybe it would be a good idea to put a top fps limit on all AEGs. Obviously some people can't be trusted to stick to the proper engagement ranges. I think every team had someone get hit by a hot gun, we had 3 ourselves. The out of state ops I've been to put simple limits of 380 or less on all AEGs there’s no confusion, no safety problems, it's simple. Maybe bolt action weapons could be higher but why do you need an automatic firing that hot anyway? It’s like an arms race, one guy’s firing at 390 then the next has to go to 400 then 410 on and on. Let’s cut it out, set a top speed and stick to it. Especially on a field as small as this one with no age limit.

How about not.

Actually, the idea would work very well. The issue is that those with hot guns would have to downgrade their guns, unless they proved that it would be impossible to shoot full auto with their guns.
