Decent weather, was muggy and rainy, but cleared up mid day for some great shooting weather. Good things: Camouflage was much easier to determine teams. There was extremely little confusion of who was on whose team. Decent turn out, strict chrono and full seal rules, only 1 downtime for lunch. Hanging out with guys I used to hate (Dahm, haha) and guys who have banned me, those who have teabagged me and those who have made me bleed with and those who have made me eat a bb. And best of all, the flame thrower . Really wish I could have stayed the night. Creating Whitewater, and demolishing everything in our path, even if they didn't call their hits, we fine gentlemen were the unsung heroes of the day. Not so good things: First and foremost: Blackwater had some major malfunctions. Between not calling hits and not respecting the ROE (rules of engagement), to being just plain disrespectful assholes (it takes a lot for me to say that). There were multiple occasions that it occurred, although I will admit not all of the team was like that. Honestly, some of those people need to reconsider their choice of sport. Disorganization as always, things never seem to run smoothly, I wish I had suggestions to help it, but I don't, maybe someone else does? Mud. Can't be helped, but just sucked, along with the rain early in the morning, than the heat/humidity in the afternoon. Scenario. Might have been a good idea on paper, but just worked extremely poorly. Tons of confusion which lead to a lack of enjoyment for most parties. It also was way too much like Gold Rush, but that scenario worked out a lot better than this one. Off Topic:And for the record. One individual may not bang kill 13 people, especially when the 13 people are all facing you.... Full auto or not, have some honor/integrity and obey the rules of the game, which include not cheating by putting on someone else's BDU top while still playing for your team. Also, a hit is a hit. If you are hit with a bb, it doesn't matter who shoots you. Your team, the enemy, yourself, or a squirrel. You call your damn hit, you don't look around to see who it was who shot you and then decide if you are going to call it. I saw this happen SEVERAL TIMES, and it was truly pitiful to watch.

Today was fun for me, the rain really effected my vision, but once the rain cleared it wasn't so bad. Black water was a no go for me, with them changing teams so rapidly, I didn't know if I should shoot or salute, so i just kept my distance from them. A really bad thing i hated was" The city has been nuked, your all dead" something that maybe could of spiced this asset up is doing something with radio activity or just not calling it a "nuke". A +1 goes to Crazyman for giving me some BB's he was keeping very close to him. good talking to you!.
Overall it was just another game at S.F.O.D nothing special to hate or remember.

I had some fun today. It was nice putting more names(screenames) to some faces and talking and meeting with everyone. The Game: I think that the SFOD guys did a good job keeping the game going pretty good. It would have been easier on them if they hadn't made the game plan/scenario so elaborate, (ie: airstrikes, minefields, troop insertions behind enemy lines, etc, etc.) but that is their decision. I HATED the idea of the Blackwater guys. They were cool to me and I didn't have any personal beefs with them, but I heard "stories" all day long. We weren't no more than 30 seconds into that game and they caused confusion and chaos by saying that the city was a "restricted area" and we (or the other team) weren't allowed entry. After about 2 minutes or random firing through the woods at the other team, we finally figured out that they were bullshitting us and made our way into the city. I think that they did their job, which I'm guessing was to cause confusion and be the douchebag team. (No offense guys) So, if that was their objective, job well done! Overall, I had fun and definitely enjoyed it. Looking forward to tomorrow

Not the best Op I've been to at SFOD. Blackwater problems (like being told they are neutral and then trying to return gold, but getting shot by them) and a severe case of woodland syndrome on both sides.

I'd like to thank the UN security council members, especially Russia, China, and the US for creating a crack strike force of disciplined, nationalized, proud soldiers and Tex to remove the threat of the privatized army.
But seriously, good game today. Sure we didn't start on time and the scenario wasn't the greatest in practice, but it was a great game. I also have to say I like the UN peacekeeping force idea for the refs, I just wish you guys had more blue helmets because you were in tan uniform. State approved.

It was a so-so OP. Not so great not so bad. Prolly would of been better if they had just eliminated blackwater all togeather or made them spawn by the pool. Also would of helped if every other time i died it wasnt by friendly fire but shit happens.

Tex, Fucking best Epic attack on Black Water. You got more then me i only got 2-3. Thought you use to be an asshole. But, your a really cool guy ( Much Nicer in person everyone, Kinda like a big ol teddy bear).
But, all in all SFOD ran another great game. Just please get that group of kids taken care of. I let Connors and Greyfox know what they did. Thank you for a great game!

I had a good time overall. It was interesting being team commander for the second half of the day. I actually thoroughly enjoyed the experience and appreciate the support of all who decided to give me this distinction. Thanks guys! Also, Blackwater caused ALL kinds of confusion. I actually had a chat with Team Iris about this after the game play. From what I understand, they were supposed to cause havoc and basically disrupt either team they saw fit. In this, they did the job that was presented to them. The not calling hits, and other problems I will have to defer on, as I don't know what happened and didn't have any issues with it myself. I did however, not enjoy being shot within engagement limits with hot weapons. I've never been shot in the face/neck area so many times at an OP in my life. It was disheartening to say the least. My face now bears a nice welt that bleed quite a bit after getting laced from around 10ft away with an AEG that OBVIOUSLY was shooting too hot for the distance. This was in the city as well. People know the rules on this and I don't think they are difficult to follow. If you have more than arms length engagement, don't go room to room lighting up everything you see. Either get a pistol or downgrade your AEG. It's simply not an option to be using hot weapons in such close quarters.

That's more like it... and by the way, I'm the one who was courteous enough to give big mean ol' Tex the teabag... ;D
As for the game, I had a good time. I agree with everyone else, the Blackwater shit was fucked. And unfortunately, there were a few being total assholes on the field. After about 5 minutes of putting up with the douchebaggery, I said fuck it and we launched an attack on them, taking out a few in the city.
I'm all about role playing and shit because it adds to the experience, but being a cock about it is where I draw the line. Unfortunately, a lot of Blackwater were being flat out dicks (in game).
To make the games running smoother, I'd recommend running 2 teams and fuck the merc bullshit. Keeping it simple with 2 designated teams will eliminate a lot of the major issues.
As usual though, I had a lot of fun in and out of game. I sat and bullshitted with some cool guys and their dads.
Ranger914, no problem on the BB's... I have nothing else to say Shooting that hot with .20's is always a bad idea so I was happy to give up my secret stash of .28's.
Anyway, most people played honorably with the exception of a few that I repeatedly watched not calling my shots until I hit him in the neck. ;D
To the douchebag that was in the pine trees near the maze that was firing at me and yelling to " call my hits", and " sure they didn't ", you're a fucking idiot.
I don't know who you are, but I can assure you, you weren't coming close. It just made you look like a fucktard. Common sense tells me if you're shooting at someone you CAN'T visibly SEE, 100 feet away through pines and thick underbrush, your shit probably isn't hitting them.
Now, if you can CLEARLY see the target being hit, that's different. Simple fact is, you don't have super-bb's, so either get closer or shut the fuck up.
All in all good game and I actually enjoyed playing in the rain more than the rest of the day.

I agree with you Crazy, Blackwater basically ruined the game for me. The majority of them were just flat out DICKS.
Crazy- My dad had a fun time chatting with you, Said you're a real nice guy. As well as Sky-pilot and the other gentlemen who was there.
All-in-all descent game, Got to talk to great people.
