nope...you're right, I dont. That was my first attempt at "simulation", hence why i thought yelling was ok. I just know that I've been yelled at worse for not having my fingers slightly curled and thumb along my trouser seam. ( nice flashback moment for all the devildogs out there, huh?)

Instead of flaming others from here on out, lets hear about some great firefights. I'll start best ambush. We had just cleared both mazes and I asked everyone to check their mags. All of a sudden we see a 6-8 man BW squad turning the corner at the pool, they where hunting something. I told my squad to hold fire and let them get closer, I only had my shotty. They move toward us and then they spotted one of us and opened fire. I cracked off 4 racks of the shotty and got three of them. Eagleye took two and then this guy dropped like he was hit. He wasn't so I shot him. he calls it and gets up and there is Skypilot laying behind him.... We open up on sky and take him out. after they called all out we talked and it turns out they were on their way to flank our team on the D-day hill. Good times after that we head out on the mission to sweep out the saw gunner recking havoc on the D-day postions. We took him out too. I don't know everyones names that were there. they weren't all Rats but you guys did a great job working as a squad. Thanks that made it super fun ;D That was probably my second favorite part of the day. Even though I only got one kill from it. I was lucky I was behind the tarp. I had so many BB's just miss me though.

The same for me and a few others that were with us. I must say BW Called every hit it was almost a perfect ambush. I say almost perfect because they spotted us and fired the first shots. I also want to give props to the green team. Because at one point I was in a negotiation with BW for The city massacre of the Sudanese and the taking out of the SAM site in the city which we got ten more points for our side. Anyway green team was shooting at other BW members at other points on the field not knowing I am dealing with their Commander....
He says to me as I have 8 guns pointed in my direction.... You better get your guys to stop shooting at BW NOW!!! I sent out word and the green team stopped shoot at BW> it was great. I lived we got the city massacre and the SAM site, marched in three big gold bars worth 20 each and about 20 others. Then we Air strike again three times the swamp the embassy and the PUB. because of all the kills we earned we got a free air strike on the Church I have nothing else to say. The cool part was I had to have the UN man Greyfox to mark the target ( laser designate) for two minutes before it goes BOOM! How cool!!!!

Hey Conners, just wanted to give you some more feed back on the night ops. That was with out a doubt some of the most heart pounding action ever,BAD ASS!!!!!. I was one of the members of spy ops that went down the hill with you. I also wanted to thank all of the SFOD guys for a great weekend. I brought my 16 year old nephew out and he got to pop his cherry with a brand new vector arms mp5. He also thanks all of you guys and had nothing but great things to say, considering he got thrown in on woodland by himself while the crew he rolled out with was all BW. Kudos to all who had a hand in organizing the event.

Damn, I didn't think my scenario would be that good. Though I am glad it is. I'm quite impressed with myself for comming up with that. We may have to make it tradition to run one every chance we can at night...just liek our 300 games.

As I was there crouching for 30mins and being only visable for around 15ft, it was definiatlly hard to not make one sound as mosquitos were everywhere, I couldn't turn on my red-dot sight(A crappy different one) as its not kill flash, fireflies were everywhere as I was searching for a trace of the enemy, out of nowhere a short flashlight pops up, it stays on for longer each time as it approched, I waited for it to come closer, as soon as it was in the city, I opened fire, everyone eles did too, the guy suddenly yelled "I AM NOT PLAYING!! I WAS JUST CHECKING ON YOU GUYS" I was like, "oh..come on..." I have nothing else to say

yeah connors not even gonna lie, that splinter cell game was bad ass. 1st round was scary as shit, i turn the corner in the embassy as i was patrolling and i see a SAW barrel in my face, thinking... 'oh fuck, im gonna call my out now ok?' then 2nd round was sweet as hell, whoever was guarding the hostage in the UN building, i think, how comfortable were you when you saw that ak barrel a foot away from your nuts on that ladder I have nothing else to say? tight stuff, not gonna lie a single bit. chaseman yeah, that ambush was bad ass. i thought that blackwater was gonna wreck us all through those tarps and what not. then the rest of the assault was all kick ass, even tho we lost I have nothing else to say

Yes that Splinter cell game was BA, aninoss02 I believe that was me the second game in the top of the UN building I had my face painted, and did nothing but run my mouth to give my position away haha. But I must say how scared was the kid who walked in the UN building the first game seeing a pistol pointed in his face asking if he was in or out. That first game was so hard... I apologize to Creg for his son, it was I who cut the power both times unaware of young ones in the city relying on that light. My knees are still sore from staying in the squatted position for at least 10-15 mins.
But none the less that game was bad ass and be sure that SFOD will try are best to host that again and another event.

I really shouldn't have even bothered coming to this because I had to work at 3 on saturday, and at 1pm on sunday, so there was really no way of me getting any time to play. Still, I came on saturday and played until lunch, only got 2-3 kills from one spot and completely soaked. Lots of people were complaining about their goggles fogging but I had absolutely no problems with mine since I took someone's advice and put dish soap on them. I really got pissed off when someone said I was out of bounds.. no yellow minefield tape there behind the village and the fact that I was crawling on my stomach the entire way through water and mud made me pretty pissed about that. Scared of a little flanking or what? I did the same thing again but stopped halfway and got some kills looking at the main entrance to the city, almost needed a scope right there. That tall grass was awesome, easy to fold down and tall and thick enough to easily hide in. I continued on after having my teammates to the left of me get shot and got up to a second story building, but it was too late in the game and I didn't get any kills there. That building needs some more peep holes in the sides, I don't like poking my head out to see if anyone is there when I can just look through something.

I guess I will add my 2 most fun moments of the day...
The first was my first encounter with Blackwater. 10 of us Sudaneese were on the far side of the field where the black tarps were. We had been deployed over there by our commander, however the leader of our larger squad had been taken down and only only 4 of us were left.
We were attempting to retreat to our staging area, all the way across the field, when we noticed a huge group of BW moving into the area like they were being deployed. We had no idea what they were doing, so we agreed to shadow them a bit and see what they were up to and who they were working for.
They entered on the far side of the tarp area, and we were chilling just waiting to see what they came there for. We then came under fire from all sides, must have been some greenies, and then blackwater.
We bunkered down and waited for BW to get close. They were even trying to shoot us through the tarps. They must not have known where I was, as finally after waiting patiently I sprang around a corner and lit up three of them from 6ft away!!! I got shot too, of course, but that was to be expected.
The best part was they started griping away about watching engagement distances. One of them ran to catch up with me only to see that my gun had a white "arm's length" tape on the barrel, so I was well within my right to blast them all. I guess that's what you get for wearing short sleeves...
Funniest part was - THEY WERE SUPPOSEDLY WORKING FOR OUR TEAM AT THAT TIME!!! We had no way of knowing...
Another fun time was when my buddy and I were defending the little bunker dealey near the sudaneese spawn. We were both in there and some guys from the coalition team were pushing forwards right outside it. I noticed a guy come right up to the outside and peek in between a crack. He said "Its empty!", and his friend said "GET IN THERE AND HOLD IT!!!!!!"
Well, he did come in and I jacked him as he was heading towards my buddy. I have nothing else to say

I was going to stay the night, but my team mates wanted to go home, but if I had known there was going to be a splinter cell mission, I would have been there. I wish I hadnt missed out on that one.
