18 years old is the age limit.
It is not the ACO's intent to stack one team or the other. It is however our intent to play with our teammates that we spend time practicing with. I am leaning towards holding events where you have to register with a squad.
As to the friendly fire incidents, it is the fog of war. Get radios, pay attention, keep your head down. Sorry mike, no armbands.
Our events are going to get more and more real, and hopefully better. We strive for combat simulation.

Hello Everybody,
I just want to let you know that Garcia Jamison is going to run much smoother than Firebrand - for those that are going, I believe this will be one of the best MI reenactments yet. (Don't want to sound too cocky but trust me - you will have a blast) Objectives will be more simple than Firebrand, new & improved rules of enagement, awesome topographical acreage, a walk-thru of the property will commence before the op so everybody is familar with the territory (your going to be grinning from ear-to-ear), South American Guerillas and US ops will be equally matched, neccessary use of smoke grenades. If you are even thinking about going -register - it will be a great experience. For all those who have registered, please don't forget to send your $15 via paypal. Please note that lunch will not be served at this location but we will have water available. McDonalds, Taco Bell, Wendy's and Burger King are all near by. Looking forward to seeing everybody again and please remember ACO is a club - those that attend are members of ACO. The team within ACO is Detachment Delta - consistes of myself, Gabe, Don aka-StrikeEagle, and a few other fellas.

Question!
Concerning weather. If it doesn't agree with us, the game goes on correct?

Ryan, any thought of using the armbands (blue & green) from wolverine Fury to lessen the Friendly Fire incidents? The day looks good for me too. I have armbands that I made for use in Alaska. They are brown on green so as not to interfere with camo. You would still have to pay attention. When I get the opportunity to come out and play I'll have them with me.

I'm still interested in coming to Garcia. Perhaps get some pictures and shit. I'll be the roving cameraman.

My apologies Gabe - no armbands.
Detachment Delta will be soon getting a new uniform to our wardrobe - British SAS woodland camo - probably you will see us at the next op wearing our new duds. My recommendation would be to have your team decide on a particular military uniform so at least you can identify your teammates. We know that some will have the same outfit but it will still better identify who is a friend and who is a foe.
Bigmack - you're more than welcome to be a roving cameraman if you choose. We will have one on site for part of the op.
Don - will you have pics from firebrand at all?
Again if anybody is planning on coming and hasn't registered, please do soon so I can get a head count.

THe same discussion came up in Alaska on team identification. People don't want to do multiple camo types cause it's too expensive, they don't want want different hats because everyone wants a specific hat, no body wants armband...for no particular reason. May I ask why you are against armbands? Cause you don't feel like wearing it? It has no effect on camo, they were designed that way.

I'm registered, though if there's overtime available on Friday night (Which means I'll be working from 3pm to 4am), I'll be completely dead tired. Oh well.
