Well here I go again:) I'm planning on making this one too, and thanks for it being closer to Grand Rapids:) Since thats where I will be staying once again. Hopefully I will get my CA M15A4 RIS in by this game:) So I will be attending and I will paypal funds for everyone I bring ASAP. Will we be changing anything as far as uniforms or some way to eliminate some of our friendly fire? And are we again going to go ACO vs. everyone else? Just wondering.

Same age requirements will be in effect - 18 years and older. Wear whatever BDUs you choose. Friendly fire is an event of war that needs to be dealt with. Regarding ACO versus everybody - we will see how many people sign up and determine what will best for the reenactment. Limit of 30 registrations.

Ryan, any thought of using the armbands (blue & green) from wolverine Fury to lessen the Friendly Fire incidents?
The day looks good for me too.

Mike,
Talk to Gabe about the armbands and see what his take is on it. Gabe is now in control of the rules of engagement for ACO.

If one player's opinion matters...I kinda liked the potential of FF. It's realistic, and forces the two teams to communicate and work together well. I also liked ACO sticking together in the "ACO vs. the world" confrontation we had at Firebrand. They know each other, and it sorta gave them a slight advantage over our ragtag band of russians. It worked well, IMO Little message for the younger folks: please don't bring any more "blah blah this sux cuz I'm not 18" posts here. It's been beaten to death a hundred times. This is ACO's event, it's their decision. Whining about it isn't going to make them more likely to change it...as a matter of fact, it'll prolly have the exact opposite effect.

I don't mind some friendly fire, but we had allot:) I'm not sure either time I got hit, that it wasn't friendly fire. They never came in close enough for me to tell, and I just went down and waited. I really think the best way would be by uniform, but chances are thats not gonna happen(was thinking about that camo-xaos) it's a little pricy to pick up all the kinds of camo I would like to have:) None the less doesn't make much difference to me, but this game any friendly forces stay behind me ;D Cause if it moves I'm shootin ;D
