Sorry for double-post, but can someone get Evan on here? I'd really like to know where exactly he was at the time that this all happened. I also need to know the timeframe of it. I might have a possible perp here but I can't confirm it without those details. EDIT: Does this gun (circled in red) look suspicious at all? I thought it looked a bit weird.

Guys, I'd like to point out that we need to make sure that Futureball retains all waivers from today. Both of my current suspects from viewing the video had names on their sweatshirts. If we have a name, FB can pull their waiver, and then there's an easy method of reporting because we'd have the address and phone number.

Also, evan said a ref found the pistol so someone ought to see if we can get a picture of that to confirm the one above and one found are the same.

I have the timeframe: Within the last five minutes of the match. They called it as a result of him being injured. I have a broad location: Evan was on his team's right side, my team's left side. Which I believe would be northeast. Even if I can get a description of the pistol, I could identify it.

I pledge to you all, I will try my very best to not let that happen again. Starting tomorrow all side arms will be checked. If its Real Steel/BB gun That Player will be going home, and not welcome back, and their info will be posted on MIA to let others know of this individual. I assure you this will be addressed, and enforced .

It's unfortunate that this happened at Futureball given the debate about safety we have been having, but this sort of thing could happen anywhere either out of malicious intent, ignorance or lack of proper supervision by the host.
I have been to many events where pistols were never chronoed and event hosts are typically overwhelmed with trying to get games moving along.
I would really hesitate in placing a blanket of blame on Futureball given that every event host on here knows this sort of thing cojld happen to them. With so many players to manage stuff slips through the cracks.
Hope you identify the individual who did this.

The gun you circled in red resembles this one. The Elite Force 1911 Tac generally Chronos anywhere from 295fps to 380fps. It's unlikely that it was the cause of damage at an out-door game. Also: Quite a few shots to the forehead that I have seen have caused some gory looking wound sites. Thanks to the skin being so thin and close to the bone in this location you get a lot of capillary bleeds that seem to "gush" as there is little to no subcutaneous fat. As far as the wound site itself looking not like a BB impact, please don't forget that shots that hit us aren't always coming straight on. Not to mention when that BB does land it's not always going to bounce right off. The inertia tends to go somewhere. We did have a player shot in the upper lip at No Limits on 4/19 who started bleeding immediately in a similar fashion. This was an isolated event that happened during one of the Fort games and was most likely the result of carelessness with a players engagement limit. Unless a .177 is found and Futureball posts an image of the found gun, I'm going to chalk this up to a gung-ho player trying to put his stuff on the table with a super hot gun.

A 0.177 round was found in Evan's shirt. I have concluded that the pistol in the image I previously posted is not a 0.177-cal. BB gun. It is an airsoft gun. The search continues.

That's unfortunate. It wasn't made clear if it was a 6mm or .177.

That's unfortunate. It wasn't made clear if it was a 6mm or .177. Yeah, there's a lot of confusion and misinformation. Here is information from Evan, the guy who was shot: He found a 0.177-cal. metal BB in his shirt later in the day. A CO2 0.177-cal. BB pistol was found by a referee later in the day. It had been ditched by the shooter.

This has become a search by the APD (Airsoft Police Department) and Chief CStingerGhost1, to find and serve justice to a man who at a airsoft event fired a metal bb causing harm to one Evan. Video of that day has been pulled by the APD and is being reviewed in a attempt to catch the culprit. Police only wish to give Evan justice by refusing the culprit game play on future fields and possibly meet the receiving end of an airsoft firing squad. Police are asking that you disclose all information you have to the Chief as he is the lead investigator. Stay tuned in the next 24 hours as information on how the search goes will be announced to the public.
