The best thing to do is to utilize several forums in order to formulate your own beliefs about a technical or gun issue. Well said, Life Pro Tip, research a lot of different sources before formulating opinions. That said, everyone here is right, all at the same time. It comes down to personal preference and personal necessity. If you don't know how to work on a gun, buy one that you won't have to work on.

I've used both G&Gs and CYMAs and I like them both. Well, that may be because I was lucky enoough to get a pretty nice CYMA MP5A5 for CQB games. I tore it completely down to change out the spring, shim the gears and re-grease it and I was pleasently surprised at the quality since it was so cheap. I had feed and firing issues with it at first, but I upgraded to a 9.6v from a 8.4v and made sure my mags were initially well lubed. After firing about 1000 rounds through it, it let everything break in and settle and now it works perfectly.
