I guess I'll start it. The game play itself was great, a lot of really good fire fights. The objectives were really scattered due to a lack of comms.(half of the green team didn't know what radio channel they were on). Relish, I think trying to get some of the green team to move forward in the village was the hard part(even when you started shoot at them to go forward didn't even make a dent). And whatever happened to the green team medics? There was only one that I saw that was staying with us and actually doing his job(and a big thanks for healing me in the village). Tex, the beginning shots were great, my nose and lip are starting to scab up finally. The biggest complaint I have is, I know it was supposed to be a 16+ event, but the majority of those under that age did absolutely nothing. Even when a good amount of suppressing fire was put down on the south ridge an mostly cleared, the calls for a push were completely ignored. In closing, it was great to see all of the green and tan people out there that I haven't seen in quite a while, all in all a good day and not to bad of an event(great moderating by Flak).
Quit possibly the best part of the day was first thing in the morning after I arrived at 9:00 am and seeing Tex with his hair kind of slicked back and reeking of urine and vomit. A sight I don't think i'll ever get out of my head.

Was a pretty sweet event. Pros: Couple sweet firefights, and always cool to hang with my team/friends. I am really glad I didn't have to shoot Relish and experience the laughing shark rage. Cons: Underaged ignorance, and lack of hit calling. (no offense to anyone specific) Overall I had a really great time, and cannot wait for the next event. Had a blast playing medic for the first time on green team. I was having a lot of fun healing people and keeping my team alive. I thought the weather played out great given the scenario of the south pacific. Overall a fun day.

First and foremost, sorry if I yelled at you yesterday, I was great in the morning, and then it was just one thing after another until I popped my top at a few people. This sport is about honor and fun, which was true for the majority of the day, like the 3 times Rogue shot at me, and all 3 times I did a barrel roll. Sneaky old guys were my bane I tell ya. Rogue got me all 3 of those times, and then Easy popped me twice square in the chest, payback for his nose and lip I bet . And for the most part all was well, there were just a few specific incidents which occurred that *really* ground my gears. To the individual with a G36K who completely and utterly demolished my head and face when you had me dead to rights at about 30 yards, please, lay off the full auto. One or two shots would have easily taken me out, but laying on the trigger and spraying the bunker around me and me with at least 10 shots to the head, totally uncalled for, and very painful. Please, use short bursts, or semi-auto when you are shooting someone that close who doesn't notice you at all. To the individual, who will most likely not read this as he "doesn't have a forum name, so I won't be able to find him"..., you stood at the mod tower, hands on your hips, weapon resting on the ground, looking up, and chatted with the moderators. I saw this, and right then and there, it was clear to me (and the other 3 people watching this incident) that you were not in play. When I was shot by you 5 seconds later, well, of course I was angry. I was about to yell "good shot" to the ridge, because that's the only place I thought it could have come from, but no, it was you. I was then shortly revived by a medic, at which point Chaos came up behind you and had you 100% no questions asked, dead to rights. He called for the bang kill, and what did you do? You shot him. Yes, there is a rule, that there are no bang kills on the field. But that is for the long range, I'm a sniper trying to be cool type bang shot, or the I'm sticking my gun in a window randomly and saying bang, or my favorite, "bang bang bang bang, all 4 of you are dead". Regardless, any honorable player would have called that bang kill, but you chose to be... immature and got the moderators to side with you. Now, at this point, I had moved to the village, and had it 100% in my mind that you were out. And what did you do? Full mother effin auto into my head. Seriously?! Did I mention you were a medic with an M4 that had a beta c-mag on it? Your actions were watched by a multitude of players, and not a single person approves of what you did, especially when you started talking shit and egging me on (bad idea). Finally, the last issue I had, was my favorite. An individual was atop the ridge, and when I came over it, I shot a teammate of his. I then noticed him, laying on his back, arms to his sides and gun just laying on his chest. It was pretty safe to say that he was dead from the fire my team had put up there and just had no kill rag. I then noticed a tiny movement and took out a second player. When I turned around to give my team the "all clear" I was lit up from nowhere. I turned, and noticed it was the guy who had been laying down! Now, I was angry, and stomped off, but the difference here is, he came up to me and apologized, he was apparently just laying down to avoid the spray of bb's from the SAW that was lobbing them up the hill. I don't know who this guy was, but he had a Thompson and old school OD BDU's. I just want to say thank you for handling that matter so maturely, apologizing for lighting me up and explaining what had happened. It was a real breath of fresh air to see someone take responsibility for their actions, I commend you. But, all in all I'll say that I had no issues with mass amounts of non-hit calling. However, there was some, but that is to be expected with some of the newer members, and with the way adrenaline starts pumping. I'd like to thank the green team for being targets for my lonnnnnng range M14 kills, made me a really happy camper, especially Ehlers... that super long range goggle shot on you was priceless . Also, to set the record straight, I didn't smell like my piss, but rather Glass's, Relish's and Canto's. Also, Canto, hope you like the new windshield wiper fluid I gave you .

This was my first OP hosted by Canto and the guys that I have ever been and let me tell you I had a blast. From the pre game camping all the way until the end of the game it was just non stop fun. Gameplay was good too although communications and strategy within the Jap team went completely out the window. I gave up on trying to maintain any kind of tactical advantage with my most of my team, so I detached and worked with a small group of guys and let me tell you. We owned. Plain and simple. Mongoose and I at one point took basically the whole village by ourselves. The other guys in the group took out quite a few people but eventually got mowed down by the second wave a greens that came through. A good fight from both sides. GREAT time. Now, time for me bitch. To my CO's little newb followers.....Do not ever EVER USE THE COMM CHANNEL FOR SINGING OPERA AND RECOUNTING SPONGEBOB EPISODES! My god you would think we were trying to communicate with 5 year olds. The channel that the commanding officer is on is an especially important channel that cannot be raped with immaturity. I think Tex will agree with me on this because every 5 minutes he would come and flame you guys for chatting it up. A piece of advice for next time, knock it off and lets all work together to make these events as realistic and organized as possible. To the individuals that I detached and fought along side (Mongoose and his men), I had a great time with you guys. You all are amazing fighters and you should definatly let me know which OP your going to next because I will be sure to join you. It was a pleasure smokin' bitches with you guys haha. Tex, seltzer water and lemon juice should help with your piss stained pants Overall, it was a good time. Thank you! I almost forgot. COG, awesome fighting with you guys. You really know what your doing out there and I highly doubt things would have gone the way they did if you werent on the tan side of things ha.

Tex, or anybody else,
Can you identify the member (maybe in pictures of the event that I'm sure will come up soon) who the offender of your second incident was? I'd like to make sure that somebody like that won't be able to attend any Hellfish run games in the future.
Canto, hope you like the new avatar and title.

You're my hero Texy!! You died an honorable death all 3 times and I apologize if I overkilled ya the one time but you were the lead on a long line of tan and I just went to work on you first and then worked my way down the line trying to get as many of the others as my mid cap would allow! Thanks to all the mods for helping to keep green in the game despite our disadvantages. We,as a team were hard on the younger nooblings but that is what it's all about if they want to come play with the big dogs. A lot of them left at the lunch break so I guess they had other obligations with their moms.To the guys that stuck with us for the day, I salute you because we were tough on ya and most of you gained confidence during the day which was hard to deal with because we were constantly in a firefight with some very worthy opponents! Thanks to all for a great day of airsoft.Espically want to point out Sharky. He was the guy with the OD's and the Thompson. He was one of our medics and kept us rolling all day and showed good tactics and teamwork ALL day long and got a fair share of kills along with his medic skills. All said this was one of my fav moments!! Sexy Texy the POW!

Remember, no geneva conventions during WWII!
I had a great time, a number of the usual gripes came around, but that's the usual.
One callout : Short dude, black hair, mohawk, on COG that tex lit up towards the end of the day. You're a fucktard and take the game too seriously. Go play paintball.
Had a great time shooting with you all(even though we got absolutely demolished)! I'm tired and am gonna go take a hot bath so my legs dont fall off.

It was nice to get out and airsoft with everyone again, I had a lot of fun. There were a few cases of not calling hits, but it's fun to shoot at them again so no problem. My only problem with this event was the lack of aggression from the green team. During the first half of the game I was able to hang lifelessly out of a window for a few minutes, struggle to get my gun out of said window, aim, alert to the target that I was about to fire, and still not get shot at. What the hell? After lunch I returned to the field in a bright blue cookie monster hat in hopes of provoking a little more aggression from the other team. ;D I don't know if a lot of people left at lunch, but I rarely saw any green guys for the rest of the day. I was getting bored so instead of shooting from cover I walked up to the base of the green teams ridge and shot twice at a guy who was behind some logs or somthing and was grazed with a bb. While I was down my friend (who was using a spring rifle that didn't have a mag and required you to insert one bb at a time) walked out in the open to do the same. This went on a lot longer than it should have and at one point we started trying to help him out. I'll never forget when Black Talon showed up and started shooting at the same guy. Later in the day two friends and I ended up throwing grass over a small tank trap out in the middle of the open field and laying there. Again, I don't know how many green guys were still at the game, but we would have never have even thought of laying in an open field at previous events. We ended up shooting at about 2 or 3 guys for a while untill both of my friends got hit and my battery started to get low. They must have thought I was out because I was able to get up and walk away without getting shot at. In all it was a great game and I had a lot of fun. All of our gear worked, and my goggles didn't fog up for the majority of the game ;D Thanks for another good game Canto!
On the topic of "bang kills" I feel that you should just take the shot unless you've got a 100 ft engagement limit. 1. It removes arguments 2. You're close enough to know where your shots are going to land. So you've got some welts on your torso or legs? Big deal, go play lazer tag if you don't like it. I say this because I've been shot in the face before by someone who didn't feel my sidearm and decided to use his rifle after hearing me shoot. Theres a way to still pull the trigger and not be a douchebag about it.

Knief, The bad thing about it was, we all saw him because the bottom of the Mod Tower is netted in. So I ran in a huge semi-circle and came up behind him. He didn't see or hear me I guess, because I held my gun about a foot away from his back and yelled "BANG" then he says; "What is a grenade kill?" and shoots me in my CIRAS not once but three or four times. He then goes on about how I should have shot him. I'm not going to shoot someone in the back with my M4 from less then a foot away when he isn't wearing any gear. The funny thing is, I should have just 203'd him but thought we still had honor in our sport. The entire time the majority of COG was watching because you can see through the screening. I know Tex confronted him about it and the guy started talking shit. He was a tall white guy that said he wasn't on the forums, he was wearing woodland camo and had an M4 with C-mag. Besides that, I had a lot of fun running around with COG and Black Talon and using the river for super NAVY SEAL cover. During that final push we destroyed the green team even more. Rogue, you almost killed all of us with your one man army behind a tree thing. Don't even get me started on the night before.

I was unable to make it to this event but having contributed to improving Bangor, I have one question, what are the thoughts on the new ridge expansion? I believed the area was coined relish's rad ridge.

I thought it looked cool when I surveyed it, but then on game-day, I never got close enough to it to see it.

This was my first Event, and I had a blast. Night before the event was suitably crazy, and day of was great weather (I thought, though I might've had an easier time than others since I had no vest on).
I want to give a big thanks to Ryan and Mark for helping me out during the game. Ryan lent me a pistol and adapter when my gun died, and Mark lent me an extra battery*. My P90 eventually got working right and I...tried to get some kills, anyways.
Jim...knife kill!
I'll add also that I found comms on the tan side pretty completely scrambled for most of the day.
And brings a smile to my face thinking of standing on the ridge and about 10-15 weapons on full auto raining fire down from the ridge. A glorious sound.
-Stefan-
*Mark, I couldn't find you at lunch nor after the event, so I still have your battery.
