Man, there are a bunch of photos of my ALICE gear wearing ass in there... More than any other OP I've ever been to...
I think the key is to hang around Tex, his chops seems to attract the camera...

Great time, had some trouble with a lot of the kiddies, but a select few of them really impressed me toward the end. I also appreciated getting to try out my new Thompson at a WWII game. It shoots great, and I have no plans of replacing it! My best friend was with me, although we were in seperate mixed units throughout the vast majority of the time. The action before lunch was OK. I got into a few good firefights and was actually most likely the first casualty on the Green team. After being healed by Sharky, who did a fantastic job all day by the way, I found myself in a small squad with my buddy and a three other guys. We stayed put for about 5 minutes and eventually moved off to the left and I led a doomed charge down our ridge from the fortress into the village. I was picked in the behind, head, and about 8 times in the back, and passed command to Cody, who had come to this event with me. He's been my airsoft wingman for 3 years, and I was certain he would get the job done. I didn't see him until just before lunch after that, but heard that they had made it to the bottom of the ridge but were forced to call off the assault and pulled up to the right side of the ridge. I met back up with him at the right side of the ridge, and we made our way down into the village, which for some reason they decided to give to us. We hunkered down in a building and held it for about 15 minutes. He was hit after about 10, and once again Sharky did his job splendidly. After about 15 minutes, I got two kills on rushers but they were just a distraction! We both got bang-killed just in time for lunch. After lunch, it was a lot more intense, but pretty much the same story the rest of the day. A lot of our teammates left, so we were outnumbered at least 4 to 1. We never actually got off of the ridge as a full force, although my friend's squad was able to take the airfield with 12 minutes left. I had gotten a few more kills at this point, the most notable being Big Texas who I shot out of buck fever and had not noticed until he freaked out and stomped off to get a mod that I, having lied down to avoid the INTENSE saw fire that had, along with Tex, wiped out all of my allies, looked like I had been dead for 6 hours and he had ignored me thinking that I was dead. I pumped a large burst from my Thompson into his left arm and chest, and quickly realized why he hit the roof. In the end, the whole issue was worked out in no time with no harsh words or feelings exchanged. I apologized, and we all continued to have a good time...beautiful! Also Big Texas, thanks for mentioning my apology in your post, and as a result not getting me banned from future events. After this whole incident, I hooked up with two more guys, a medic with a DMR (don't know his forum name) and a kiddie. We stood on the ridge by the mod tower for at least 15 minutes and decided that we were going to book it 300+yds to the airfield and at least get something done for the Green Team. I actually didn't know that my friend was already holding it with his squad. We were just about to move when we saw what I swear was the WHOLE tan team moving through the village to attack the fortress. we stayed put and by some miracle were never spotted. Less than 1 minute after that, we saw 3 contractors moving straight for us and decided to strike first. We lit 'em up, and as they were on the ground screaming for a corpsman, took all three as POWs. It was probably the most exciting thing that happened for our team the whole day and for me in my whole carreer. Overall, this was an extremely one-sided but still extremely fun event that I am honored to have been a part of.
