I finally received my long mag for the M24 so its time for pics to go up of this bad boy. The last thing I have to do to this externally is get a 45 degree offset mount to put on the scope tube, and slap a doctor on there - just for fun and for those guys who are juuuuuust too close to use a scope. Last chorno'd at 510fps with .20's. I expect it to be higher once the new hop up, and Edgi 6.01 get dropped in. I have a bunch of parts coming on the way (internally) for it, so I'll post some stats maybe once they come in.' Here's a new pic with some work done to the suppressor. I also wrapped the cheek piece in tape which both looks better and is WAY more durable. The suppressor is sort of still a work in progress. I also shortened things up a bit, because I thought there was too much useless length to the rifle. Its a bit more compact now and easier to wield.  OLD:  |

Now, just to be fair Kiki, only the end of that suppressor looks like crap. If it were flush, it'd be tits.
Still, good looking piece all around.

Eh, yeah. It doesn't really bother me. It doesn't look very flush because its a cap on some PVS. Not much better way around that right now.

Have you tried at least taking some sandpaper and making the cap look more even on the end there? Just making it look flush might not be that hard to do.

Yes, its thin. Too much sanding can go through it. I think you're making a big deal about something that really doesn't matter that much... I really couldn't care less.

I'm not a fan of most bolt-action rifles, but shit, this is really nice. I have to give credit where credit is due. I would actually want that rifle as my own.
*Maybe you could make the end cap for the silencer from PVC also?
Cut the cap to the diameter of the silencer, then sand away all the rough shit after adhering it, then repaint it maybe?
Even with the way the silencer looks, it's still a nice rifle.

I was thinking about doing that. It wouldn't be nearly as strong but it would look nicer. Right now the cap is bonded to the PVC so I'd have to do something about that. Since everyone seems to have a problem with my silencer, I guess I could think about maybe changing it a bit. |

Ew. Please take off the ghetto cheek rest. Literally it ruins the entire gun for me (that and the aforementioned suppressor) Just get some low profile scope mounts and remove the tape and foam from your rifle.

Nah, that cheek rest isn't THAT ghetto. It shows personal initiative. And it color coordinates with the rest of the rifle, I have nothing else to say. But it wouldn't hurt to maybe upgrade to a better one. To me, that rifle screams cheek rest in any case. Besides the butt-plate, it's ass would look naked. The more I look at this, the more I want it! *Not saying it wasn't sexy when Blag had it, but you made her look a bit better. |

I prefer dirtier looking rifles, ones that look like they could actually be used in the battlefield. This is still pretty sexy though.
