After a long winter, I made it out to Cerberus to sling plastic and chill with my fellow Asshats and several other cool people and had a great time! Wildcard, you're a cool dude and you should join the ranks! I got to fondle some sick GBB M4's, learned how to fix my 1911 problems and won some shit during the raffle. All in all, a good day. I really wish I didn't have to work tomorrow and could have stayed past 4:30, but having a 3 hour drive, I need to get some rest and not be totally exhausted for work. Anyway, game play was much more fun than any rec-game could be. It wasn't ALL run and gun shoot 'em fun. Radio communication: Having radios is essential to an effective game plan, however usually there's a breakdown in the USEFUL com chatter. Today surprisingly had minimal B.S going on compared to any other game I've actually used radios in. Normally, an hour in, I get so annoyed with the stupidity that I shut mine off, so, good job guys! I didn't know the storyline, but people were actually working toward and achieving the objectives. Having actual objectives always help continue a fluid progression in the game, so as always, I enjoyed that. Not that it was all work and no play, because we had a good time bullshitting and joking while performing our jobs, too. It was just nice to have shit to do all day other than spray and prey at every moving bush. I particularly liked the medic system as well. It was much less retarded than the typical tie a string around your arm and wait. Anyway, a lot of fun was had today. Unfortunately, I lost a black VFC Gas Charger that looks like a flash bang with white writing on it. If someone found it near the far end of either of the ridges, please post up or send me a PM. I know it's a long shot that I'll get it back, but it's worth a try. That's the most likely place that I lost it. Maybe green team's netted spawn? Anyway, pics to be uploaded shortly. I only got a few, though. Edit: Check for TICKS. I had one on the back of my neck.

I also give props to Tex, the gameplay through the first half was intense, as was the second half. The random in-game event changes were superb, it really kept the gameplay moving. As I was a civilian the first half I did see a few issues, the north hill is so well covered in foliage it's virtually impossible to shoot through from the village. Even on the south hill it's not near as thick and given a good rifle you can easily shoot north to south, but not vice-versa. However, it did lead to intense firefights along the north ridge when Cartel made it over. Sorry to team MAAG, I know you guys are cool with us FAH guys, I honestly only saw the tan plate carriers like me and started firing. Was good to finally meet you all though. And thanks Tex, I gotta say that G&P WOC is a nice piece of kit. Hope the pictures turned out well. EDIT: For all those that asked and fondled it. I was carrying the TSD M1014 Tri-shot shotgun made by Double Eagle. www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_181&products_id=4806

Thank you for a great game Tex. I really like the continuous dynamic objectives, and the IED made for some interesting strategy. Also, the new additions to the field really added a lot. It was great to meet some new people and I really appreciate the lubricant advice from whoever was on the green side radio. Who said airsoft can't be educational.

Great job Tex and crew! I had a great time, and got to roll with everyone I like to play with...on and off the field. Top notch players, top notch players, top notch gameplay. Now what we need, is more of these types of games.
By the way, how much did the OP raise for WWP?

Very fun, died down near the end but '60 minutes after sunset' would have been ridiculous.
Thanks Tex and everybody else, the 3 hour drive is always worth it!

Sorry for the rape tan team? We ran shit! I had a blast though. Thanks Tex for putting it on. I have nothing else to say... Green ended up winning by a shit ton. This is what I remember Michigan Airsoft being a few years ago. No cheating, no complaining, great competition (other than those SWAT guys... fucking noobs ), and great objectives. I've gotta congratulate you Tex. One of the best games MIA has had in the past couple years.

This is my second year playing airsoft on a large scale and this was by far one of the most intense and fun games I have had the pleasure to indulge in. I would like to thank Tex for running a smooth event with very little if any cheating (never encountered it) going on. Also, I enjoyed the fact that whether you were there or not, Tex basically started on time and not some 30-60min later.
Yea, the green team wooped some major ass, but props to the tan team for trying. I enjoyed the intense gameplay and ever changing objectives. My knowledge of the objectives were limited however without a radio.
And to theactionman, congrats on a very nice shot. I was the lead of the patrol on the northern ridge at the end of the game. My knuckle is still sore.
Overall, congrats to Tex for running a smooth event and Team FLAK being mods throughout the day to keep things under control. Definantly looking forward to the next game at Hole in the Wall Paintball.

I remember seeing something similar to that on the tables by the campfire. Was it a bit thinner than that flash bang in the picture? And shiny black, in a way similar to a maglite? Anyways, I had a hell of a time today. So many of you gave me the best footage ever. I definitely have my work cut out for me, with photos from backdraft and today, as well as videos for both. I'm glad people liked the medic system, we were talking about it earlier in the week and trying to figure out some system that would be more realistic and fair. You can thank Kazz for the original basis of the system. Once this video is done, I will be producing a DVD to send to the Wounded Warrior Program, with interviews from Tex and others involved with setting up this event. If anybody would like to write a short letter to the program, send it to me in a PM and I will include it with the DVD I'll be mailing out to them. Expect the backdraft video to be out in a week or so (if I get the time, which I should), and this video will take a few more weeks to get it perfected. I'm going to try and get short trailers for both out sooner, however. Wonderful event Tex, I had a blast, and it was great meeting more of you today!

Looks like I'm apparently not better..... I pretty much stood up out of bed... and threw up, EVERYWHERE. No warning, completely random.... not even enough time to make it to the shitter or a trash can.

GlassArchitect, my gas charger was that exact product in the photo. But, thanks for looking out. Like I said, I know it's a long shot, but back in the day it was 65 bucks and that's a little hard to just let go without an attempt. I have nothing else to say Stapo, puke everywhere... Was it creamy and white? I have nothing else to say Pussy, call 1-800-Servpro. They'll clean up your puke and bang your mom, so it's a win win.

I found a glock mag during the day, but had to leave early, so I left it on the event table, get ahold of Canto or Tex to get it back.
Otherwise everything has already been said, great game. BTW, who was the guy that sniped me from 95 yards away?
