Thanks Tex for putting on a great game, i had a great time and i hope more games are like this. Great job working together Tan team. We lost in the end but we held our own really well. It was fun playing with all the TEST, HELLFISH, and all the other tan guys. Plus it was almost epic when we army crawled towards the church, thanks for following me out there. Wildcard- as always thanks for fixing my guns, your the best. Roughneck and Lucky- I still have to get you back for shooting me ( mostly because you were SOOO happy ha ha) Everyone else thanks for making a great op and i hope to see you all again soon. Blindshot(me), Mirage, Reaper, and Oakey Black Talon Team

(Just realized how long this was, but I'm still a newbie at this, so there's a lot on my mind from this event, just bear with me please)@arkhoninfaustusIf that was the fall back from the village in the second half, then that medic was probably me. This was my second game day:It was good to put some more names to faces out there, though I'm sure I'll forget many of both all too soon. The heat was annoying, but no big deal. But the damn bugs, shit I think I spent more time dodging getting bit when I was a civilian than I did dodging shots when I was Medic! THANK YOU Bison for bringing bug spray, it helped me do my job during the second half. Playing Civilian: (I was the guy in all blue with the long sleeves) Went pretty much as I expected, no problem. I was getting worried when we kept getting run back and forth between the village and the tree line. But it gave me the chance to watch a lot of you guys operate as you were gearing up and moving out. Incidentally, to my knowledge, I am the ONLY Civilian that was successfully extracted, at the very LAST second. And it makes it even more unfortunate that I came back the second half to play against Tan after all that work to save my narrow ass! Oh I would do this again. Civilian injuries: 3 Deaths: 0Playing Green Medic: (I was the guy with the P90) This was the kind of experience I signed up for. Supporting my team with all of my abilities in the second half, even though I was scared to death of getting shot myself. I liked the use of the card system, I think it made the game experience longer and more interesting, and made my job that much better. Though it was a pain trying to dig out those cards with gloves, but that's my own fault. I know that when I/we were pulling guys out of the village, it was crazy getting shot at from those close angles. And then when I ran in to heal a whole pack of 3 guys in one building, Team Tan proved that they had that bazaar locked the fuck DOWN! In the end I took a squad of 4 more greens down and around and flanked the tan spawn and the other side of the village. And I really like the pay off we saw from that maneuver. Though in hind sight I think it could have been done a bit faster, but that's a habit of mine. And thanks to you guys who came along with me on that sneak attack. I think we did our job just in time. Confirmed Kills: 0 Times injured: 2 Deaths: 2 Friendly Heals: 15 Death Cards: 1In the end:I still feel like a newbie, but I'm finding a much larger measure of acceptance among you folks than I had expected. And this event, again, was exactly what I had signed up for (except for the 14yr old hooker part...). So expect to see more of me in the future! And thanks again so much to Glass for letting me borrow his P90 and mask, that baby was JUST what I needed for this and that mask fit me like a DREAM with my damned glasses. I feel bad for my buddy Jessie, his borrowed weapons just kept dying on him, but I think he got a lot of useful experience from the whole game day. Change of plans:All this time I have been aiming to get an M16A2 as my primary, with all of the medium-long range engagements out in that field. Then, to get an SMG (Probably a P90 anyway) as a secondary or loaner. But now, if I am going to insist on continuing to be medic (which I am) I think I will have to reverse that priority. I know that if I were to try the moves I did today, with an M16 and leg pouches, I would have either dropped or broken something, been too weighed down or otherwise encumbered to move efficiently. And that's not a risk I'm willing to take with my teammates when there are already plenty of shooters as is. So thanks folks for the interesting and intense experience! And I hope for a fast recovery for Stinky! Cuz I'm going to be sore as all Hell here for a while!

LtVictory,
We appreciate your comments and quips on the event. But before you get flamed, bashed, and/or verbally thrashed; please use proper punctuation and grammar here...
I will provide a much more detailed response and message later. Gotta go spend some time with the girlfriend.

@master_Oki_Akai
I have nothing else to say Seemed like you got your fair share of exercise running back and forth between those shacks. About the guns, you could always get an M4 or something. Not as big as an M16, but it should give you the range.
Also, nice pics Dizzy!

swat1* A4 Thank you, thank you. Which one were in in this photo, just out of curiosity? @arkhon Oh I didn't mind that at all, I needed the exercise. But that's just the kind of stuff I signed up for, so I loved it. The thing that fucked me up was crawling up the south ridge to get behind the Tan lines. I'm still not feeling the M4 just yet, though with the shorter barrel and collapsable stock it would make sense, especially if I want to swap out attachments. I'm still looking things over, and would appreciate more help, as I'm going to THINK about a short carbine (G36C-ish) or a heavy SMG (P90-ish). I'm having to rework almost my entire shopping list at this point! But I thought you were pretty slick out there too. I know I was ready to follow you back out there myself.
