Best event I have been to in two years. This game proved a few points, Michigan needs more milsim events and that 18 years and up will get better quality games.
Sportsmanship what great, I only heard a few complaints but that will always happen. The objective system worked awesome, I think the way Tex did it was the way to do it going forward. Keep the objectives simple and don't give them out before the game. Medic system was pretty good, spawn time was long enough to make you not want to get hit as well as giving the other team a decent advantage to complete objectives.
Team FLAK did a great job helping host the event, I appreciate what they did at the event!
Oh, BTW, Tan team put up a good fight but the green team destroyed every single objective handed to us. Green wins by default for Roughneck swimming down the river and tossing the IED into the building clearing the city for our pilot exfil.
Once again, great game and I hope I can get to another event like this soon.
I will post some pics, I didn't take many but I know I have some good ones.

I might be the only one to post feedback from my team (except maybe Dingo) ,so I guess I will just speak for all of us Black Talons and say that, we had a really good time. Thank you Tex for a great time, and a great cause. You did a great job. Bigc it wasn't a 18+ game. It just so happens that there weren't a ton of under 18'ers there. There were a few, and they did a good job of acting mature. Thanks to everyone out there, for probably the best airsoft event I think I have ever played in, as far as hit calling and all around honesty goes. I would just like to say to the guys that were laying fire down at the church from the city, while we were holding the priest and his boy inside. That there was a very fine, but nonetheless very effective wire screen in the end facing the city, that was keeping us safe from your constant and very consistent fire. I could see from that distance that you probably might not have been able to see the screen, and could have been frustrated that your very accurate shots were not resulting in kills. It was good to see old buddies again, even though sadly most of them were on the Tan side. Good to meet some new guys as well. Thanks again everyone for a great, honest, and fun time.

I'm going to refresh this question that showed up on the last page, because I'd like to know as well:
How much was actually raised for the WWP?

Otherwise everything has already been said, great game. BTW, who was the guy that sniped me from 95 yards away? That was me. Haha it was just a little epic with the cheering section waiting behind me. Thanks for being a good sport and waiting for Tex to get to you to pace it out. Overall it was an amazing game, I just love that field for sniping and Tex did good work setting up an amazing game. I was pretty sure tanside won because in the first half of the day we got all the drugs, and all the tools, and rescued one of the civillians. In the second half of the day we did a few more objectives. I think you green guys are confused because at the end you captured our base and all the drugs there. This is only because Tex told us we were gonna end the game with something crazy and that all Tan forces had to move into C (the city) for a cluster fuck defense so you guys could have a little fun after getting pinned down on your ridge. Tex says he will calculate the results with his point system and will post an official winner, so I guess we'll just have to wait and seen. Again, it was a great game and I wants pics NAOW!

BTW, who was the guy that sniped me from 95 yards away? I have nothing else to say that was theactionman (TAM), and that was THE best (read: luckiest) shot I have EVER seen in all my time playing airsoft. I feel really sorry for you though, because that was quite ridiculous... But we thank you for being a good sport and staying there when you got hit (and calling it too) so Tex could measure it out. Yeah that screen was getting very annoying when we were taking shots at you guys in the Church from the ridge, which is why we then had a team of about 6 of us crawl through the grass towards the Church. However, I have to give big props to bigc for mowing all of us down (except me ;D ) as soon as we stood up. Damn you and that SAW! Anyways, excellent game. It would have been nice to get some feedback as to how each team is doing- I swear at lunch there was no way the green team could be winning...we had captured a lot of drugs and almost all of the civilians, and only lost the priest and the altar boy who were executed. Regardless, it was still a ton of fun. It was great to play with the TEST guys and RAGE, and the rest of the tan team too. And bigc, although I don't think I ever formally met you, I will always fear your SAW after what you did to us guys in the grass when you were in the Church.

As the XO for Tan Team I can say that as a team we rocked Green Team with our tactics. We might have been out numbered. We might have not done all of our objectives. We might have leaned to love our great team of Medics. Yet, in the end I saw some of the best squad based tactics that I have ever seen at an MI airsoft op.
Again a call out to all of our Medics. You guys rocked on so many levels. A number of times I would get hit and not even need to call out for a Medic because one of you guys were already on your way to heal me. Made for a great sense of teamwork. Also, I was amazed at how our medics were willing to put themselves on the line to get heals out there. I have never seen medics climb, jump, swim, like the ones that Tan Team had this weekend. Truly epic.
Part of what made this event great was that Tex did a really great job keeping things moving. By changing the objectives every once and a while it forced teams to keep on pushing to new areas. I was a little sad that I did not see more of Green Team on the open field. I felt that a lot of the times we were just shooting at them up in the woods. I think I saw the same 10 green guys in the open the whole game. Yet, don't worry Green Team you guys can hide and we will always chase you. You are the rabbits. We are the fox.
I would like to give a call out to all the members of Tan Team and say that it was a true honor. R.A.G.E, Hellfish, T.E.S.S, and all the rest of Tan Team's members gave the rabbits.... I mean Green Team hell. Let them think they won boys. In the end it is only us who can raise out glasses high and toast to honor, pride, and victory.

Cerberus was awesome. It was a lot of fun and for a good cause. Good job green team. Thumbs up to the medic I helped get at least a few of those guys out of the village after it turned into a shit storm. I have nothing else to say TEST showing up reminded me of the rival storm chasers on Twister. Bigc that SAW was ridiculous. Everytime someone was out of range you would take them out in one long burst. In all i met some really cool people and had an awesome day, great game Tex.

I found a glock mag during the day, but had to leave early, so I left it on the event table, get ahold of Canto or Tex to get it back. Otherwise everything has already been said, great game. BTW, who was the guy that sniped me from 95 yards away? MY friend Dan (Cowboy) lost a 30ish rd. Glock mag at backdraft a few weeks ago.

Tex, you hosted one of the best event's i've been to in a long time. Overall great game, I had a blast commanding. I honestly don't care who "won", hell we all had a good time so we're winners =p On the fly objectives (which I only realized were on the fly when canto told me) win the day - if you hadnt been able to think quickly we prolly wouldnt have had as much fun. Kudos, dude.
As I mentioned during lunch break, I was impressed with the caliber of players out on the field. You could tell that by being A) Milsim and B) Prepay only we got the cream of the crop of MiA'ers, so that's great. Not too many people not calling hits, nobody screaming at people to call their hits (other'n TAM - seriously dude, shut the fuck up and take shots rather than screaming at people to call their hits ;p), and overall no drama. Great event.
Can't say I've got a whole lotta stories, I was more behind the scenes and really only fired my rifle twice. But, that's what commanders are for!
Also, sorry to bail on the team and drop leadership abruptly, thanks to rogue for taking over (or whoever ended up taking over). A friend in need is more important than an airsoft event, however.
As far as Stinky goes, we ran him to the hospital at like 6:30 or so, he was in until 10:30, they diagnosed it as dehydration. Good chance to remind everyone to drink lots of water even if you think you're going fine. Stinky's got a history of this type of stuff, and he's gonna go see a doc about it to see if it can be cleared up. Basically, he drinks more than anyone I've seen and just cant process it. It's weird =p So, he got an I.V., mask to calm down his breathing, and some pills that made him trip balls on the way over to Talon's, but overall he's fine.
Khazz, thanks for helping him dude. I left you a voicemail at like 11:00 or so last night, not sure if you got it, but thanks again man.
Asshats, I left a tan chair sitting over in our area when I ran stinky to the hospital, did anyone of you grab it? If ya did, you can just hang onto it and bring it to the next op we make or whatever, really not a big deal. And if we left anything else (I dont think we did, but maybe) just lemme know, was kinda in a hurry to get outta there.
Canto, we stopped at the field on the way over to talon's and grabbed our charger, so if you see it missing don't worry, we got it =D
Anywho I think that's it from me, bring on ze pikturez!

only hand picked people under 18 were at the game, not all people who where under 18 that signed up where admitted which brings up the point that 18 and up with just a few that have proven them selves worthy makes for a great day. Sorry but if your under 18 you shouldn't be allowed at the more larger events until you have proven your selves worthy. Tex Great game, very well executed, canto love the dress you sexy girlfriend Ass hats dominated as well again, It was nice to meet some more of the team crazyman your the shit. It was great running with all the guys.Tallisman I have your chair buddy.

Well worth the 3 hour drive. Constant objectives made for some good fighting. Next time I'll run and gun instead of passing on the word of the good Lord Jesus.
Oakey, I loaned two brand new sets of full seal googles to your buddys. I left before you guys got done playing. Can you pm me so I can retrieve them. Thanks

Great game. Haven't had more fun at a game in I don't know how long. My body is still sore from running, ducking, covering, etc so much. Will be looking for more games like this in the future.

I guess as an average player, we didn't get any kind of feedback at the beginning concerning the drugs. When we cleared out of the city we didn't have any objective like "take drugs out of city" or anything. So we just left them there.
I didn't have any idea we were supposed to stop you from getting to the civilians, and I was on the command channel all day.
We completed every objective we were given, that I know of. As far as the drugs on your ridge at the end of the day... we didn't capture them. We just left them there. We however did bring ALL of our drugs and every prop we had from our southern ridge to your northern ridge at the end of the day to A2 for a "truck extraction." Then proceeded east down the northern ridge to get to the "end game" slaughter, just in time to not really have anyone left to kill. There were like 15 + of us up there (northern Ridge) at end game, so it isn't accurate to say "we were pinned on our ridge."
Personally I don't know how we could have lost. But it doesn't matter. It was a fun day regardless.
