Funny....How's about a boat load of money and all your guns being taken away?
What I think is funny, if I were in Biggies position, or anybody elses that went to the skirmish, there needs to be some serious pounding/face stomping to a particular person who was responsible for this.

Well I wouldn't give up on the guns that easy. Don't really see why they should get to keep them, it's just like getting my skateboard taken by the cops for skating an illegal spot. They always gave it back later on.
I'd ask your parents to call the station and try to get them back. Agree to have tips painted orange or something like that if you have to.

Yeah Hado but you have to agree that there is a quite a big difference between a board and an automatic bb gun. We'll see what happens. I'm writing a letter of apology to the Warren Police tonight. Maybe that will help get the guns back now that I think of it.

I am very happy those cops didn't shoot any of us. They handled the situations extremely well, minus the gun taking and the prick who yelled at Bigmack and I.
Ok, I had orange on my barrels, and they still took it. After thinking about it, it made no sense for them to take our guns. Seriously. I mean, all we were in trouble for was curfew violation and trespassing. Neither of those things considered airsoft. If we had orange on our barrels or not, I do not think they should have taken the guns. When I started telling one of the calm cops that they were leagle (especially MINE) the prick came over and started threatening me with different charges. I would understand if we were causing public dismay by doing airsoft drivebies or shooting people on the street, but come on...
The Cheif Justice of the Michigan Supreme Court (Maura Corrigan) is basically an extension of my family, so I'll have a talk with her about the legality and our actual rights concernig what happened.
Also, they must have had a clue that we were not a real threat. They entered the hallway, ORDINARY OFFICERS, well most of them. Some kind of response team was on the way, but if they honestly thought there was a real threat, a swat team would have been in there. I mean, they all only had handguns. I think I maybe saw one shotgun. I was just wondering. Any thoughts???
Note>> Sick, you should have gotten your scope and mag pouch of your commando.

The mag pouch wasnt on the commando at the time and the site I just decided screw it I'm not gonna have a gun to put it on. And Chuck how dare you say they didnt take us as a threat! You dont consider a bunch of people running around in camo carrying guns a threat? And no a SWAT team wouldnt be in there right away, because they didnt know if it was a false alarm or not, and need to check out the situation first.
EDIT- Chuck please continue talking about gettin our guns back. Joe's dad is a lawer and said he'd ask about it for us.
EDIT- I just finished my letter to the Warren police department I'll send it tomorrow.

Yes, I plan on getting them back, or using my certain political contacts (hehehhehe) to sue for the money back. I'm writing a letter also. We will get them back Biggie, I will not rest until you wake up to 9 airsoft guns and a freshly baked cake placed on your doorstep....

My friends dad is a lawyer so I am asking him for help on getting the guns. My dad just says I am lucky not to get arrested for criminal trespassing. I am also going to send a letter to the police but I need the address. SickPointe or Tempest could you please PM me or send it to dicepackage@hotmail.com. I looked on the net and couldn't find it.

I'm confused about something here. Did you guys actually have permission of any kind, or not any at all?
If you didn't have enough permission or whatever, does that mean they were busting you for tresspassing?
On police confiscation.. Does anyone have any real information on this? I don't really understand. Can police just confiscate stuff legally whenever they want? I had a friend I knew online have an airsoft gun in the backseat (under a blanket, they searched the back) confiscated. It was a traffic stop for speeding. The gun had a blaze plug. Why could they confiscate it? He never did get it back, but it was a cheapo springer so he didn't mind *to* much.
Do they need to have a reason for confiscation or can they do it just for the heck of it?

Yes, and no.
They cant just say...hey...he looks like a criminal, lets frisk him and take his stuff. You must have reasonable suspicision/probably cause before you search/confiscate anything.
As for your friend kmgor, since the officer searched the car for "speeding" your friend must have been doing something else to warrant a search. The gun could be taken away, depending on if it were displayed in a threatening manner, or depending on the ordinances in the city he was stopped in.
