Today was a pretty good day. There were ups and downs, but I can definetly say that there were many more ups thankfully. The Bad: - The Mercs were a bit annoying. One second they would be with us and then all of a sudden turn around and shoot us up. There was also one instance of them walking all the way along the ridge and shooting people who had just spawned, from our spawn. Not that big of a deal I guess, just a bit annoying. - Not calling hits. I understand why, there were a lot of new people today, but when you grab your head and duck, you call it. The Good: - INTENSE FIREFIGHTS - The 30 man ambush on the DPRK Force that walked down the center of the valley when it became dark. I will never forget teh sound of 30 fully auto AEGs. - Met and caught up with old and new friends. - Good field as usual, but Allied needs the South ridge next time Overall it was a very fun day and I definetaly think you should keep entry at $15 Canto

There was also one instance of them walking all the way along the ridge and shooting people who had just spawned, from our spawn. Not that big of a deal I guess, just a bit annoying. To clarify, it was three of us and we had moved up the ridge from the first village and simply ended up at your spawn. The people we shot were engaged with the other side and had not "just spawned" they were a good 40ft from their spawn. We were in and out within 5 minutes. We were actually taken out by the team that sent us in there. Also, we never did simply turn around and shoot the other side. It was usually a slow transition because we had to get objectives from the commanders. We were not sent in to annoy anyone but to simply keep the game moving, which I think we did pretty effectively. If we made some people mad, I apologize. We were simply following instructions based on the amount of cheap foreign currency we were given.

Yea, I see what you were saying, but those guys did just spawn, walked right a little and then started coming back. The issue was that you guys were standing literally in our spawn. Not a huge deal though. You guys did keep the game moving most of the time, but we had so many people who just wouldnt move because they were scared. I had to charge with my Gspec, not fun

I thought we were a little off from it, it was not marked so I apologize.
The thing is that people need to understand the ONLY safe spot on the field is the respawn itself, a few feet from the respawn is technically the play area.
I also think there was about 2hrs out of the day where the mercenaries were not even in play.
I did have a very enjoyable time though.

Mav Sol, it's a shame I don't think I ran into either of you (though I think I took some pot shots at you Mav? Were you running as a sniper?) It was definately worth $15 I second keeping it at that. The Bad - Team changing, I heard a lot of guys took off their woodland and went contractor just to get a few kills. - Obviously hit calling, ah well I'm ok, that just mean more pain for them. - Mercs: I love the idea of 3 forces, and for the most part I think it went over pretty well, but at least twice I held back (along with my squad) on firing because I thought they were friendly (only to get shot at). I would suggest the commander at least just warn everyone, honestly the game would still role on. The good: - A blast, pure and simple. Met a lot of cool people (Hey Goku, Warpig, Skypilot, ugh can't remember names). - Insane firefights. Definately INTENSE, I can't wait to play with another crowd like that. - Dusk fights, I can not begin to describe the fun my squad and I had at the very end. Thanks for the great time. Soliex: Man you mercs are so cheaply bought off

The Mercenaries were distinguished with yellow bands, anyone who did not have them should have remained on their team. There was only 6 of us. I do recall when we started working for the American side the commander at the time was saying via radio that the Mercenaries were now with them. While we were meeting with the American commander discussing our pay he was getting radio calls about his men being engaged with the Mercenaries. Which I think led to the confusion. There was a lot of people with plain colors and mix matched camo, They were on the North Korean side.
And thetrigger, we were a little upset to find out $7200 WON only equals $50 USD, we got screwed.

NOOBS,NOOBS,NOOBS!!!! WHY DO YOU NOT WANT TO CALL YOUR HITS??? We felt like we were playing against a bunch of t-1,000s' ;D ;D. this game was NOOB-TASTIC!!!! It was hilarious when one person in the noob force would get hit and the rest would run away!! ;D This was my first time on this field and found it to be..........well.....I loved the hills ;D. Holding the air Field? was nice but holding it for over an hour got a little frustrating, but taking out six guys before they saw me was worth the wait. Teams need to be more defined next time. But i must say,,,I did have fun today. To the guy that borrowed my speed loader.....I want it back!! when you get a chance. ;D

Agreed there was definately a lot of confusion on team colors. It was easy to identify Mercs, we just couldn't tell if you were on our side or American at the time of engagement.
$50? Uh yeah, I don't blame you, I'd leave my team in the dust too for that pay (come to think of it I wasn't paid at all I have nothing else to say).

And thetrigger, we were a little upset to find out $7200 WON only equals $50 USD, we got screwed. Knowing you were hired for $50, does it now make you feel like you were cheap and dirty little whore? Game was good. Noobs on both sides, the Korean noob's hooked up with the more experinced players and we showed them a thing or too. And a ass kicking to the American's were delt. To all the new people I meet, it was a pleasure and I hope to see all you around at other games. To all my old friends, good see all of you again. Now on to the game. Yes there were people not calling their hits, but that isn't the game organizer's fault, it's the fault of the players... but we are over that. The game settled down and hits were called. Objectives based at different times within the game was good. It made the game move and firefights throughout the entire field. I don't believe however that the north side is easy to take, or the south is harder. Because it's not. I took it as my part to organize a defensive line on the ridge in the first part of the game. The line broke then it was were taken back and held. When the Koreans took the north ridge, we continued to have a defensive line on the ridge (smaller but still there). Do I believe the Mercs added confusion? Yes. Was it good for the game? Yes! and it was good! As I told people on my team, only trust the Mercs when they point their weapons at the other team. Keep your eye on them, and let them do your dirty work, however be ready to shoot them if required. If you forgot that, or had trusted in a merc force that was hired for $50 to do your dirty work, then shame on you. Next time, remember Mercs work only for money, and they will always work for the person with more money. All in all and compared to last year, I give this a 10. Good times, Good Shooting, and over all Good fun. -Sky'Wookie'Pilot. p.s. If I shot anyone and it hurt... sorry

Great event today! Agreed with all the above cons and pros of the event also.
This was the 2nd event we have attended and we loved it. We will for sure be back again.
And for the guy who I put under the tall grass at the air base before the huge Allied attack on us. Contact me. Wtf happened? Haha.
Thanks to all,

I tell ya, the mercs pretty much trampled the Coalition squads sent to push them back, got a nice shot in the back of the head during that time.
I found climbing the ridge to respawn a nightmare, you go up, wait, go down to villiage, follow main advance, get taken out first, walk back up, rinse & repeat.
Should've trained as a sniper, never leave the ridge.
I just feel bad that I did not do so good with the terrain. I had some fun, made some friends, and got slaughtered. I just need to go to more rec games near where I live instead.

Awesome game. DPRK were extremely outnumbered, but we sure kicked some ass. 1-3 difference in teams just gave us more targets to shoot. Lots of first timers on both teams, i'm sure all of them had a blast. Lots of down time due too a ton of battery problems, not sure if my quick charger is broke or what...either way, awesome game.
