Canto!!!! WE NEED MORE BUILDINGS!!! Sorry, I just had a crazy moment. But I think it would be absolutely awesome if the buildings were close to the edges of the hills, and there were some taller ones in the middle of the field. Utter Chaos everywhere!! But as always the field was greatness!! I second that, being in that village was a lot of fun. really like that field as it wasn't to far away from where i live and i like the two hills with the houses in the middle. definently planning on attending the next Armory Airsoft hosted events.

Thanks for all the input and feedback guys. Now, some people here have expressed interest in having additional buildings on the field. I won't be giving any details away, but as of now our 2009 construction plans include (but not limited to): - Expanded staging area. The grass and weeds in between the parking lot, paintball staging area and the airsoft staging area will be cut down and cleared. The wooded area behind the existing airsoft staging area will be cleared an additional 20-50 ft to allow for more shaded and comfortable staging. - The field itself is a planned construction operation now. Versus the old layout where the entire field was the one main "city". Planned meaning the buildings will be lay ed out in a format that includes "roads". - We are hoping by the end of 2009 to have a lot of the "villages" connected into a giant sprawled hamlet. - Bing Mao Boulevard - Main road. - Ayatollah Avenue. - Khrushchev's Kattle Korner (terrible joke) - A small "livestock" area including a pasture. - Mao's Coffee Pot (a pun off the South Haven restaurant) - A mock cafe. - Open Air Prison (across the street from a mock toy store) - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lubyanka_prisonJust a few ideas for 2009 and beyond... I also would like to ask people for any and all suggestions as to how to make further improvments to our events.

I am also curious as to if the general MiA population thinks that our free onsite camping policy is a good idea, a bad one, or a neutral one...

Its a good idea in my opinion, just because people think its a waste of gas just to drive up there, then play then go home. Also onsite camping gives new players and old a chance to socialize and get to know people.

I think it's a great thing, saves me the trouble of driving six hours in one day.

I appreciate all the support you gave me Canto, all my foul ups got taken care of. Sharing the tent was very generous.
To all those I met and talked too, I hope we meet again, when I'm more active.

I finally got the video edited and on line. I'm sorry it took so long.Again I'm going to apologize for my voice relaying commands from the radio to squad 1. I was the only one on the team in contact with our commander. Not that anybody listened to me anyway, but I still was yelling to them a couple times and it comes over the video. Sorry I also don't think I got a shot of everyone on the North Korean side, so I apologize for that too. I'll do better next time. The edited video was huge (20 minutes) so I had to split it up into two parts. They both were shot in high quality, so you have to select "high quality" at the bottom right below the screen. (Part II for some reason didn't upload in high quality, so I will have to upload it again, but you can still watch the crappy version until I upload the new tomorrow.) Let me know what you think.
