What I don't understand is why these kids weren't dealt with at the event. It seems more than one person heard them talking about not calling hits and being general douchebags, but no one actually did anything about it? If I had overheard them, and knew what was going on I would have gave them a piece of my mind. That's for sure. Also, if you didn't want to say anything to them directly, let the event hosts know. This is the kind of shit that needs to be dealt with ASAP. Next time anyone hears anything like this at an event, PLEASE let some one in charge know.

Yes, Tex should take care of it. I think he really does eat little kids for breakfeast.

No, Tex should patently NOT take care of it. That sort of thing is the sole province of the game organizers. I actively encourage people to bring issues like these to the attention of the organizers IMMEDIATELY. Get this shit dealt with such that everybody can go back to having a good time.

I got sniped by a high powered rifle from a little nooblet (On my team). It wasn't fun at all. I don't think they know how to tell distance (I mean I got sniped from less than 20 feet with what looked like a gas KJW M700). Just a suggestion... Maybe kids under 14 should have a FPS limit of 350 and under so people don't get pissed off at their stupid actions to shoot at close range with hotter guns.

Just a thought . Should airsoft events have higher age limits or different events for different age groups. Kind of like in little league with major and minor league games. this may give beginning or younger players better orientation to the game since this is definitely not paintball. I know this would be tough sometimes unfair since i've seen irresponsible players young and old but generally the older you are or more experienced rules and the honor system are generally followed to a higher degree.

There is an age limit discussion in the event planning section, let's keep it there.

Well since I know finally have power back I can finally post my opinion of the game. First game, went pretty well for me except for the guy who wouldn't call out at first because I bang killed him. I don't really blame him because He probably couldn't see all of me but I did get shot in the neck most likely because I needed to point out to him that he had to call out from the bang kill. Second game went pretty smooth for me as well. I was up in the embassy as usual. I was looking out of a crack during part of the game watching some guys on the other team trying to find a good time to pop up and take a shoot. When I did I hit 2 guys but I promptly started getting yelled at because I guess I shot a ref??? The guy had a gun and was shooting at me so I have no idea what that was about not sure if it was about me but I happened right when I went back down. Now the third game is where I had all the problems for the most part. Myself and maybe 2-3 of my team mates were in the embassy and were getting shot at from the one building to the west of where we dropped the gold off at. Now What confused me was we were hitting people but never saw anyone leave and no one came in either. It seemed as though we would hit them and then they would switch to another spot. I'm also 95% sure that the guy that shot me that last game was someone we got out already. We have video of all of this from behind them so I don't know what was up. So in other words the only problem with this scenario I had was people not calling their hits as usual. Ps. The smoke nades in the city were mine.

The welt on my neck? I just let it go. If that person were shooting hot which it didn't feel like they were theb they were pretty stupid to have shot me from like 5 feet away on full auto. ( I am not saying the person was shooting hot or did anything wrong. It was mostly my fault anyways.)

Well, people should still have the courtesy not to spray a target from 5 feet away when a single shot on semi could take the person out just as easily.

Did anyone else get covered in Poison Ivy? I'm trying to figure out where it is on the field. Both of my forearms are absolutely covered in it, I am going to venture to guess that it was near the swamp area where I crawled prone for a good 50yards or so. Just wondering if anyone else feels my pain.

On the SFOD field? Last summer it was ALL OVER the hillside above the city.

Between our field and SFOD I think I've had poison ivy constant since the summer season started. I get it basically every time I go to SFOD. And trust me Tex, I feel your pain. I'm highly allergic to the stuff. I've actually been admitted to the hospital for it previously. That's why even though it was 90 degrees I kept my BDU jacket on for a vast majority of the day. And yes, when I took it off, I got it on my forearms as well.

I'm not allergic to it, but I saw a bunch of it everywhere. I always keep my bdu's on in the field. It sucked it was so hot but.... It sure beats having the itchy's for two weeks or more...
Good luck guys!
