Ah, gotcha. I agree about not counting friendly fire. I think that's a terrible idea. If you get shot, you get shot. If SFOD wants to reduce friendly fire, they need to get some better uniform requirements. Too many things look like civies. I had a hell of a time trying to figure out who was who when all I could see was a black t-shirt. You also have to take into consideration all the newer players that don't exactly know whats acceptable to wear yet. Theres always going to be that "new guy" thats totally clueless, so unless your dealing with veteran players, a game will never be even close to perfect. Also, I had a helluva time with the "black uniform" issue. I wore straight black all day long and was taking fire from both teams.

Knief, my issue was that he was shot 4 times and did not know who shot him until I yelled (I waited a good 3 or 4 seconds between each shot, so he had plenty of time to call it). And yes, I'm positive I hit him... white bb's on black camo... pretty easy to see, I have nothing else to say. I even happened to be right next to where the enemy team was so it's not like he was shot from behind. As for not counting friendly fire, I thought that was a joke. That just seems like a way of teaching people to cheat. If you are positive it was one of us and not someone else wearing black then why in the hell is this the first time I'm hearing about it? Why didn't you bring this to my attention yesterday when something could have been done?

Because the guy was a prick to me and would have likely not admitted to it. I've said it before Laxy, I have no problems with you, but I haven't been impressed at all with the guys you run with the last 2 times at SFOD, lots of hits not being called. And again... white bb's really show up on black BDU's, it's hard to deny being hit when it can so blatantly be seen.

On the whole cheating thing, I was weeding a few of them out on my own side by shooting them with my pistol to see if they would call it, since friendly fire didn't count I told them after they called it. I was suprise how many "young guy's" wouldn't call a shot from 10 feet away.

This game, like all others, had some issues. Some were the field, some were the rules, and some were due to the players.
I had a great time. Best game I've been to in a year (sadly, this is not saying much). The gold bar mechanic worked great.
This was the first game i've played in that was called on account of tornado. Riding my motorcycle in a hail storm was lots of fun.

I was suprise how many "young guy's" wouldn't call a shot from 10 feet away. I was with Seven when he did this, and it's true. Even though I had to leave during lunch (crapload of grad parties to attend), I had a lot of fun. The field was really nice, save for the mud, but that's because of the rain, not the field. It was really nice meeting some of the people on the forums that you can put a face to, like Jump and Knief for example, as well as just chillin' with people I already knew and f**king around with that Crazyman... As for the game, I sat out for most of it because of a broken gun, but when I came back, I saw that the camo confusion was ridiculous. This squad of guys kept on shouting at me asking if I was on the civies side even though I was decked out in Desert. People on the green side looked like civies because they were wearing t-shirts that looked like civilians. I think a blouse or t-shirt camo code should be enforced for a non-civilian side. It was fun and I can't to get back into the games after I get back from China and Hong Kong!

It's always fun getting out and playing, For the first game, to much like an easter egg hunt, The second game got mixed up real quick, and by the third, it was good to move the re-spawn to ground level but i think at this time, the weather had already drained us too much by climbing the slippery hills every time we got out. Good time though.

I had tons of fun at this op! The only issue i had was the gorvernment side had absoultly no communcation at all. I spent the first 20 minutes defending the back building from the government side (which I was). The starting points seem to make the out comes of the games. When I played here before the side that has D-day will always win because they can walk straight into the city where as the other team has to fight just to make it into one of the buildings. Other than that, I had a great time playing!

It was great rolling with Tex for some time, as well as some of the Iris guys, weather was a major problem, having to walk the slops every time you get out, but theres nothing to do about that. Second games was a mistake though, stick to the objective that was written for the game. On a side note, this was my girl friends first game, and she really enjoyed herself. Edit: And sky, it felt great to be taken out with the grenade along with Tex, and Ranger

The game was great until the tornado but I saw a lot of people not calling their hits. I lit someone up from 30 ft away at the most and he wouldn't call himself out. I think I might have to get smoke grenades after one guy used them so effectively. We were able to comletely take over the city because of them.

I don't have the patience to read through 3 pages right now, so I'm just gonna jump right into my speal of the day... Yesterday was, well, a Cluster Fuck of EPIC proportions after lunch. Scenario mixup due to a team miscommunication, among other problems, and all the crap that flew in game. People not calling hits up the ass, engaging the ref's-I can't tell my ass. Anyone not carrying a gun, and just standing there, doing nothing, is obviously NOT in game. Not to mention, it was stated AT BREIFING that ALL SFOD members will be reffing for the first half of the day. Everyoen saw us standing up fron with Gene at the breifing, and you all knew damn well who we were. There is no excuse. Also, on the subject of not calling hits, The group of children that hung out in the gazebo, you were overheard conversing about how you blatently did not call your hits. Now, I don't know who you all were, or what team you were with, but it was a major dissappointment. DONT LET IT HAPPEN AGAIN. SFOD KNOWS WHO YOU ARE AND YOU WILL BE DEALT WITH ACCORDINGLY NEXT TIME. The individual who brought this to my attention WILL remain anonnymous. If those in question want to call me out on it, don't even bother PM'ing me with the "who the hell rated us out" deal. I will ignore it. GOGGLES!!!!!!! First and foremost, I would like to thank EVERYONE. You all came with full seal something, and it was a major reliefe on us to not have to deal with any lack of eye protection. Now, as for keeping them on. Too many people were just puling them off during the game for whatever reason, and in wide open. Not smart. Accidents do happen, and sometimes, an accident can become a trip to the ER. Not cool people, not a fun thing to have hapen during the day. When things like that happen, it gets pinned on SFOD and the land owners, not the person who got hurt, just so ya'll know. The Storm. I would also like to thank everyone who helped with this "minor" setback, and to thank everyone who just plain, listend to us when we said "drop yer shit and get to cover". That cooperation was very much appreciated. Thanks to all involved. On a side note: Like ARC said, this is defiantely a first, and hopefuly a last: Game caleld due to Tornado. I dunno about you all, but I do not want to see that funny color and cloud formation in the sky again..EVER. On the subject of yesterdays tornado weather, I have something for ya'll to ponder: It takes us nearly 2 hrs to get everyone's cars parked and situationed when puling in. When that storm hit, people went from full gear and guns, to packed up and gone in about 10 mins.. Don't think too hard, or blood'll shoot out yer nose"-Lewis Black Now, onto the good stuff. The first half of the day ran very smooth. I was impressed at how well you all did. Civilians did end up kicking some major ass. The gold bars were comming in almost fater than we coudl redistribute them to keep the game going. Nice job guys. The game kinda got jacked form the get go after lunch, but when we got back inot the Gold Rush scenario, everythign picked right back up, and got that much better again. Can't say much on Gameplay, as I reffed all day, but I really hope everyone ahd a good time. I know the respawn situation was complete HELL.We are going to be trying somethign new for Blood Dynasty II. It will not involve fighting the hill every time you get hit. We're figuring this out as fast as we can. Its as much of a problem solving agme for us as it is a hassle for you, so just hang in there guys. That's all I have to say for now. Once I read through what others have said, I'll probably have more. I suppose that means that just like smoking and premarital sex, shooting me in the ass while I'm trying to take pictures is cool. Guilty as charged. But c'mon, ya gotta cut me some slack. I didn't get any trigger time, and just had to shoot someone. You just happened to be a convenient target. .And you had such a nice ass.

I went out as a photographer during the second game wearing an organge vest and got shot a lot. I realize identifying targets is tough when everybody has their camo tops off, but for the love of god, you have to at least try. If anybody wants to know why they were shot by friendly fire so frequently, it's because there were a lot of people out there shooting before they knew what they were shooting at.
Connors, if SFOD is interested, I'd like to run a bit of a newb seminar after game play on the first day of BDII. There's going to be a lot of people sticking around, and it's clear that a lot of them need a lesson in things like target identification and safety rules.
Pictures won't be up today. I'm exhausted from work and haven't even unloaded my mags yet. I'm being lazy and will get the pictures up tomorrow.

I had lots of fun the first game. Second game, ehh could have gone better, and the third, well... a tornado attacked us. I have nothing else to say.
Their were a few problems but one that really bothered me was, one of my teammates getting shot from about 10-15 feet away from a little kid with a 50 foot engagement limit, (He had a Gas M700) the kid was on our team too.
Maybe the younger kids should have a lower fps limit since they might have a harder time understanding and distinguishing their engagement limits. ^ Just a suggestion, I don't want to argue about it, I will let you guys decide further. (BTW, It's not my idea it is my teammate's he told me to post it for him)
