Well we could have made it but seeing as how the money is due tomorrow, I guess SPAZ is out... maybe next time. *sigh*

Not speaking for Newman or anything, but he decided that he would be more leniant to the deadline. I think he will be taking deposits later than the 15th in some cases, talk to him. (I think, dont hold me by it)

Just to let the world know Newman is having some computer problems so I dont' know how quickly or soon he will get back on anything. I'll see if I can get him on at my house or something so that he can be reconnected to the workd again.

Everyone: In the Saline newspaper today was a very sad headline. "Plans Approved for Brassow Woods". Brassow Woods subdivision will be constructed "this spring and could conclude this fall"; no specific dates listed. Obviously, what I'm trying to say is that a subdivision will be built directly on our playing land (taking up 26.5 acres). We had full permission to play on the land from the owners (an older couple) until they started building, and, well...the time has come. FLAG will possibly be playing their last game at the field tomorrow. My co-captain and I have decided to talk to the field owners about using other parts of their land (extremely dense ) and one of their huge barns...but I personally am not hopeful. Because we cannot have this game at the prescribed playing field, all people currently registered (and have payed their deposit) will be fully refunded. If a check was sent, since I didn't cash it, it will be destroyed on 2/17 unless otherwise notified beforehand. Over 200 virus files were found on our 3 networked computers at home (and we have a hardware firewall, too). If I don't seem to respond quickly, I'm sorry. I'm also very sorry for people who wanted very much to come to this game. If we find a new playing field, we will definitely report back here, but there will be no deposits considering we just can't be sure anymore of a guaranteed field. Thank you for your time, and please don't bother giving me suggestions for still playing on the land, even with permission. We are now a liability to the construction company if we use their land, so we must not use it once they start building. Again, thank you for reading.

Yeah... That sucks a lot considering I am a FLAG member... Now we only have the paintball field to play at.

Speaking for Newman, I talked with him about this, we will be looking on monday for a new feild...we have a few in mind...in which case, this game would not be canceled, only moved. Basically, we'll let ya know on the 17th.
Don't count this event dead yet...
