All you need is a mask adn a gun. Since you've played paintball, you probably have a mask already.
For a big game like Ghost Dance, you will need an AEG, you just won't be able to compete without one. Maybe a GBB, but it'll be a little too cold for the gas to pressurize enough to fire the gun.
For this game in particular, you need to have atleast camo pants, and a black shirt, minimum. There's no other gear required, but a lot of stuff is nice to have. Some sort of vest or load bearring harness to carry spare mags, a flashlight (we'll be going into the dark in this game), a canteen, boots, spare mags, and a plastic ziplock baggie for bbs. A knife might come in handy, if they are allowed (newman, what's your call on swiss army type folding knives on which the blade is shorter than the owners hand is wide?). I'll probably be bringing a compass, too incase we are given info like an objected is located south west of another point, and i have no idea which direction is south west.

A lot of us wear just goggles, so no worries about that.
Don't bring any knives or other "real" weapons. There is just no need and could be a safety hazard.
I've talked to a few people and have decided that the game itself will end at sundown. A few parents were very concerned, so we adjusted.
I'll be back on Monday, so send a private message my way if you need to and I'll reply then.

So we're playing from 9am to (roughly) 6, Newman?
Boganz, if you wanna play without the actual mask part, that's cool. If you decide it may not be a good idea, I'll have a spare balaclava for you to use. It'll keep you warm, at the least.
Oh, and...
Heavy Recon (Jacko, Snip, Spoon and GosuSnipe) is hereby registering for Operation: Ghost Dance, a 12 hour continuous scenario game played March 1st, on 1/29/03. We'll be on the Chechen team, since it looks like that's the only way we can play on the same side. We'll be there all day and should be able to meet the uniform requirements. We'd rather not be put into leadership positions, as it's counter intuitive to how we operate, and all of us but Spoon will be using standard weapons. Spoon will be in a sniper role. I'll send a check for $60 out to you tommorow (That's been the hold up).

For surrenders, we just have the guy ask for the other to surrender...I'd like to keep physical contact to a minimum. All we need is a guy jumping out of a bush and try to knife kill another guy and we have a really bad brawl happening.

Oh great, I just know Snip will order one of those. He's our official silent assassin after sneaking into the HQ and knife killing the enemy general at White Thunder.
