I don't know why I'm having so much trouble with the extended gearbox, I've re done a lot of my regular v2 gearboxes. I got another extended v2 gearbox and I'm having the same problem as the first one.

BUMP: I was just wondering, I realized that I had my tamiya wires going into the wrong terminals when i plugged In my 9.6v which caused them to get hot. Would it have any negative effects to use them on my gun now?

No it won't hurt to try. I would say any damage has already been done. As long as you weren't sitting there holding the trigger for several seconds everything should be OK.

I mainly used it to test the motor outside of the grip. I usually held it down in short bursts.
