I went on the website the other day. I saw some very interesting things about the game. The season is divided into 4 rounds. The first "round" of the show is the four teams playing against each other, voting people off and electing new members. The 2nd "round" is when the teams can't elect new members, at the end of this round two of the four teams are selected to go to the semi-finals. The 3rd round is just two teams (most likely Bravo and Delta), going against each other. Then, the 4th and last round has the winning team competeing with each other to see whos the overall best.
Reading this, I realize that the first few episodes might seem corny or boring, but I know that as the season progresses, it will get a lot more interesting.
Oh yeah, the helicopter is supposed to blow up each time. I was surprised that the players didn't realize this from the start.

Ahhhh! Did anyone see tonights Combat Missions?
Delta lost to Bravo. WHAT THE HELL! Now Bravo is going to turn on each other and go for one on one. Catch it next week for a 2 hour season finale. It will air 9PM on USA (wednesdays).
I thought that Delta got robbed.

Delta didnt get robbed, they got owned. I must say bravo took delta like a mop, dipped them in the bucket of water, rang them out, and proceeded to wipe up an elementary school bathroom with them.
Delta just isnt that good, thats what you get with a team full of navy seals, and military guys.

I guess I just liked the guys in Delta. Baz was the perfect leader; he brought the team together at least 3 times and he's a CIA spook. Wild Bill, the old guy. Nutter, the morale officer. Scott Halveston, the yeller/psi ops manager. And John Wind, the bad boy.
I think Delta had more character than Bravo. Bravo seems like a team thats boring, none of those guys have character. They are all Cops...they don't know what action is. Yeah sure they got the highest score any team has had in the history of Combat Missions, but nobody in Bravo ran around with their pants around their head streaking the camera.

I dont realy watch the show often, but didn't bravo lose in practicly every mission? Plus, swat guys were winning, kind of tells you how miles gear is lacking.
Cops are naughty
Edit for political correctness

Erm...I can't say I agree with much of anything that Havok said. The only times I have heard of that happening is when the people need to have that done to them... Why not violently handcuff child rapists or drug dealers? I wouldn't want any innocent bystanders or police officers hurt.
About the abusive fathers thing...uh...wha? I know a handful of officers in different departments who go to my church. I would classify them in the "most respectful and intelligent people" category in my file, next to the people I've met who were in the military.

Rodney King! Rodney King! Hehe just kidding. Havok as odd as it may sound I live a pretty corrupt city. Yes Grosse Pointe besides all the fairy tales you've heard has a most horrible police force and everything is controlled by polotics. Basically the test to become an officer in Grosse Pointe consists of two questions: 1. Q: What do you do when you see a black person in our neigborhood? A: Arrest/Shoot on site.
2. Q: What do you do if you see a kid with baggy pants or a skateboard? A: Arrest on site.
I live about 5 minutes away from downtown Detroit, and a pack of dogs came out of the city into GP so guess what the cops did instead of bringing them to a home? They hunted them and actually killed them all, one was even on my street. But I'm not against most police. Yes unfortunatley there are is a hefty sum of bad eggs out there, but you have to respect the men behind the shield and thank them for helping you get through every day unharmed.

I will reply to you havok with one word.......Retard.
How dare you apply actions of a very few handful of officers, to an entire profession. The military is able to get breaks, and sit back out of combat for the most part, your Police, yes YOUR POLICE, are out their everyday protecting you, and enforcing you cities laws. You have no idea what law enforcement officers are trained to do, and how they are supposed to do it. You may think yourself to be an expert, but what did your friends do, and what did you do to the police to cause them to do whatever they did.
For Sick, you are exactly right. Police are ruled by the same politics, they do what the chief says, and the chief does what the mayor says. So understand the situation before you think they are the gestapo

I think you kids are generalizing just a wee bit Genuinely corrupt officers are by far a minority. If you lived in Nicaragua or the Balkans, perhaps you wouldn't be so quick to label our cops as corrupt. They put their asses on the line in the name of justice for little money, and look at how the majority of the American youth views them. I will not call your opinion ignorant, 'cause maybe you yourself have witnessed this corruption firsthand - but please remember - EVERY group has its delinquents; should we label a group based on its delinquents? Cops can be real asses sometimes, but you have to consider what they have to put up with every day on the job. Sickpointe, Grosse Pointe is run by the Russian mafia, that's why your cops are corrupt.

Russian? Only seen Italian around here... Ohhh... wait... you're right! The Purple Gang in the 1930's was lead by a majority of Jewish Russians. Hehe thanks for the reminder Ballista.

Sorry SickPointe but I have to disagree I don't think the cops in Grosse Pointe are corrupt but they are definetly racist. Half the time you see anyone pulled over they are black and if there are two cars ther you know they are black. It is sad how the people protecting some us are so racist as to blatently stop any minority group for no reason.

I think the Stigma of racist cops can be applied to every suburb. Every time I see an Explorer on the side of the road in Farmington Hills being searched (read: torn apart), I see two black guys sitting aside the car. I think it's horrible; yet this IS a stigma, and not the truth.
Don't think of Cops as corrupt, think of them as sort of paranoid (more like cautious). Many of them are young (especially in the cities), and sometimes believe that their safety is challenged when maybe it isn't. A good example of this is the Amedu Diala (sp. wrong) shooting in New York. Since the older, more experiance officers go to the suburbs where there is higher pay and less danger, the younger officers are placed into positions where they don't have a lot of experiance. Although I beleive the officers were in the right in what they did, it still was a tragedy.
What I think why a lot of young people have problems with Cops is that they command a lot of power, and if you interfere with this power, they feel threatened. Many times they expect you to let them search your car or walk all over you. This is my experiance and I know that this could not be a proper representation.
ALSO: I don't think that anyone on these forums is a Cop, or a professional for that matter. The fact is that anyone would be making absolute statements is kind of strange. That goes for both Motown and Havok.

A professional? I'm going to the academy in Kirtland, next spring to finish up my degree, and get my MCOLES Certification, so, if anybody is closet to being professional, I would say I'm it.
