I've been looking at that too, Jacko. Seems like a nice setup, plus they make MP5 pouches for it (which it seems like noone else does ). Also been looking at a Hellcat...if I used a M4/G3/that sorta mag size gun, I'd prolly go with that.

well im going with the eagle vest for CQB and now I'm split between the RACK and the DOAV for outdoors... I kind of like the daypacks if we ever play a reaaallly long scenario
on that note we need to have some big events this coming summer, perhaps even an overnight mission...

I like my vest, However its cheep and i dont believe it has a name other than "m16 tac vest" (kindof a bad picture, but the best i could find) A friend bought it and with just a few minor changes its perfect for me! Has 2 primary mag pockets, 2 secondary, and 2 small pockets, but belt loops and all for load bearing belt.... I have a pretty good rig up, and it barly ties me up when im crawling around, or even squeezing in a tight spot. + i like the way it looks instead of a zip vest If we do have a big event, or over night mission, we should have it 16+, or even 17+ ;D

Sure it is, I hear the BHI Strike series of items is built pretty well. Better than the regular stuff anyway.
As far as the DOAV goes, I managed to find a little review of the vest by Pixelpusher on another forum:

ok cool BHI makes a STRIKE version of the DOAV I've found. However, I like all of my outdoor equipment in WC and not OD.

I'm from California and I know that you cannot buy kevlar here. Maybe it isn't the same but I figured I tell you anyways. All the vests do look good though.

When I showed my German kevlar vest to the local PD they thought it was cool as hell, but more importantly, it's legal.

However, if you've been convicted of a felony, you cannot purchase/possess/use Body Armor (though there can be exceptions/special circumstances with this law)
