I guess I can see the logic of it.... It makes sense...

Jacko has correctly expressed the sentiment. Smaller mags force players to reload more frequently. This leads to brief breaks in the action which can be exploited by people moving through choke-points and other CQB hazards. In order to adequately attack or defend such points, players will have to work effectively as a team and manage their ammo usage.
Loading tools will be allowed on the field, but there will only be certain locations (ammo locker, etc) at which players can reload. The idea is that this will reduce camping and force people to move around more, or at least force players to rotate in and out of key positions such that everybody is able to get in on the action.
Players may also reload up to their full combat load while waiting to come into the game again after becoming casualties.

I understand the idea..... In reality, your BCL is only 7 mags... At least that's what we were carrying in theater. I like the idea.. I'm all for it. I was just trying to figure out the math. ;D
Are maps going to be available before the event or at the event?

Macfelon: Payment status is updated every day or two as PayPal confirmations roll into Dutch's account and he updates the player database. Your paid status should show up soon.
DevilDog: Maps will be available at the event.

I'd be inclined to say one in the gun plus a spare is plenty fine for a pistol. There's no guarantee the temperature is going to cooperate for effective pistol usage anyhow. Mind you, I'm not one of the powers that be, so my word isn't in the least bit final

Just got back from the Facility. You guys are in for some plesant (And unplesant) suprises. Frostee and I just spend 12 hours running wiring throughout the place.. 2500 feet of it so far...with more possible as we run through more ideas. This will be an op to remember...and it will make Michigan a viable force on the nationwide airsoft scene. annnnnnd: Teaser Video! Pistol mags: I don't really see a need to limit mags for sidearms since most people don't even own more than three of them. We just ask that people avoid bringing something like a TM MP5K with ten hi-caps and calling it a "sidearm."

Anyone found carrying more ammo for their sidearm than their main weapon will be mocked from now until the end of time.

Is this place a concrete structure? And if so, are incediaries (flashers, smoke, non-explosive type items) allowed?
Just asking because I have a significant supply of smoke devices that could easily fill 50% of the complex.
