Just wondering so I can figure out what gun I'ma shootin.

Well, last Saturday we were using gas guns while we could see our breath in one of the bays. Obviously, had some problems but we were able to shoot each other more often than not. My G18c was 'burst' firing, in that it'd shoot 2 rounds per trigger pull.

Count me in on this one. I finally was able to switch with someone at work, so I'm happy as heck. I'll be looking forward to seeing a lot of you good ol' Michigan players and shooting white bb's at the enemy ;D. [edit] Hey Tali, I'll give you a ride. We'll talk about what side we'll be on eventually... [/edit]

You guys should be terrorists. Hell, Talisman already looks like a terrorist, so you're halfway there.

Sweet, I'll happily pretend to target Military forces for the sake of our cause!! Okay, that sounded bad but anyways I'm glad I know where we stand in the game. Yeah Tali looks like a terrorist, but I on the other hand am too happy dandy, so yay for me. Want to smell the roses anyone? I guess I could be a suicidal terrorist then in the game, wheeeee!!! That way I don't ruin the "look" of the terror team, hahahaha In all seriousness though, I'm glad SBD will be participating in this. Looking forward to seeing you too Munin and all of GK.

... Durk... Durka.... Muhammed ali jihad jihad muhammed durk jihad ali! On a side note : If at all possible, could you guys try to keep MTASC and SBD together, if you're setting up the teams before-hand? We'll be training together more than likely, and have already trained together in outdoors environs.

a few things for the good guys shopping list. Remember, a flashlight can be your best friend. some 550 cord for securing doors, pulling doors closed, etc. rubber/wood door wedges duct tape balaclavas- getting shot in the face sucks if you can find one a tactical mirror or a mirror on a stick for peeking around corners If anyone wants to get REALLY nuts, 1/4" plywood wet down and placed in a curved mold to dry, cut a hole in the face and cover with lexan, paint it black or use black liquid plastic/rubber to coat, stencil "Police" on the face use as a shield...i think this would be a hoot.
everyone; hunters hand warmers to keep your hands and mags warm. LOTS of water, you can dehydrate faster in winter due to exertion, lack of humidity and lack of awareness.
Just a suggestion....

Mandor, shields will be permitted?
That would be great, ive been working on one for quite some time. Its a 2 1/2' wide x 4' tall piece of acrylic (spelling?) with about 1" wide and 1/4" aluminum strips around the edges along the side. Then I have a little view window that I am working on now, and then a grip and forearm rest after that. Then I still have to paint it black. I did some minimal ballistic testing on it with my KSC G17 (stock) at about 4 feet, and there wasnt even a mark on it. You might be able to see a mark from a bb after the paint is applied. The damn thing is actually pretty heavy already, and Im still not done adding stuff to it. It actually cost almost $100, so I doubt anyone would have the time and patience to build one, but I might be able to bring it along to event for the LE side to use. Just hope I can finish it in time. If I do, ill post a couple pictures of it.

I was thinking of taking one of these real-deal riot shields and applying friction tape to one side, leaving a viewport. Only slightly less expensive than STAT's, but it would definitely be durable, and have some nice heft as well. Unfortunately, my wife just took all of my money to pay for college. In other news, my leave dates have been confirmed, so i will definitely be at the op.

Mandor, shields will be permitted? NO! No shields. Terrorists would have a hard time bringing shields to a site undetected, and Customs is not going to keep a handy stock of riot/entry shields in their facility. For later games/scenarios this season, riot shields are great. For this one, we're going to give them a pass.

some 550 cord for securing doors, pulling doors closed, etc. Pulling doors closed, yes. Securing doors, not so much. I'd be worried about somebody hiding in a room getting 550'd in. Not that I make these rules, of course.

...a few things for the good guys shopping list. Remember, a flashlight can be your best friend. balaclavas- getting shot in the face sucks... Take heed. These things should pretty much be considered mandatory: flashlight, balaclava. Flashlight- The place is lit, but some areas are less well lit. Light is your friend, darkness is not. Darkness is an equalizer, but you want to have the advantage... bring a light. If you don't have a "tac light" bring whatever you can get your hands on. Balaclava- Since everyone will be shooting under 351fps there will only be an arms length engagement limit. In such a close quarters environment with players peeking around corners you can expect to be hit in the head at least once. It helps to have a layer between you and the bb. Voice of experience talking here.

eh, i meant use to close doors, if bypassing a room is needed. Not really to secure doors.
