Looks like we are leaving friday night around 7 or 8 pm. Anyone that needs a ride, or would like to attend you are welcome to hook up with us and follow us over to the event. I know that we have at least 4 vehicles following right now. You all realize that this one will be filmed by an actual film crew and that FPS will be there correct. What better way to support airsoft than by supporting this event, getting off your hind end and attending.

SITREP: 8-11-04 As U.S. Forces quietly move into striking position in central Columbia we are faced with several unforeseen events and difficulties. The Chiro Cartel is considerably better equipped than the spooks led us to believe and apparently a leak has alerted them to our intentions, for they have amassed a large mercenary force to counter our interdiction and elimination efforts. Since preparation for this Operation began, the Chiro Cartel have been busy. Hector Chiro has begun to get a god complex and has his eyes on complete control over Columbia and its drug trade. Chiro has begun to form alliances with some of the other Cartel families in a bid to rid them of U.S. intervention. He has even managed to acquire a few armored vehicles to spread his influence. The Columbian people are tired of foreign intervention as the Cartels are paying them to keep them happy and uncooperative with outsiders. Initial reports and surveillance have been unable to locate the Cartels militant forces base camp. Several teams will be dispatched to locate the Cartel stronghold immediately. Attached is the Area of Operations map. This morning, one of our cargo birds was brought down in the area and we are unable to find the crew, who are believed to be alive. To complicate matters, Senator Judy Mcfarlane in Columbia on diplomatic business has disappeared and Intel has indicated she may be held hostage as a bargaining chip for the Chiro Cartel. We have our work cut out for us on this one. As our forces are already stretched thin, this will be a quick and deadly action with minimal personnel and equipment. Initial ground forces have already built a base camp for our Operation and the rest of the deployment will arrive soon. God Speed. -Over- Event Update: In answer to questions: *Yes camping is available Friday evening. Spaces are first come first serve. *The CODENAME: Thunder DVD will be available for pre-purchase at the event for $20. After the event the price will be $25 bucks. Credit cards and cash accepted. *You can sign-up for a one day event registration at the event on Saturday or Sunday for $25 bucks. *The event map is available at www.codenamethunder.com For people traveling or those that haven’t been there, try to swing by Aggressive Sports Joliet while your close. You’ll be happy you did. Hours: Friday 11am to 8pm – Saturday 10am to 6pm and Sunday 10am to 6 pm. From I55 go towards Joliet and exit at route 30, then go East for 2.2 miles. Thouse not there really missed out! This was one of the best games of the year! The terran was amazing, and the objectives worked out well, not to mention the armored truck! I cant wait for the game in spring! I thought the Black opps mission were great. The first day the two teams were within like 10 points from each other. the second day our team (Cartel) were very organized the and dominated over the U.S.
VEVA COLUMBIA!!

You all missed one of the years best events for sure. Well organized, well ran and great scenarios. Justin and Gunny from Aggressive sports did one heck of a job on this one. It was also great to meet the guys from MAA, and to see the guys from Task Force Delta again. Building some great friendships is the key to this sport and this event did just that. Downtown took all of the Michigan guys but one and we all worked together like a unit, the rest of you MI guys should be proud, we represented the state well oiled unit. Scott from Socom, Ray and Brad from The Rat Pack, the 21CA crew, Rob from MIA Section 8, Josh-Brad-Andy from Task Force Griffen and the rest of the cartel ruled. It was also great to see 21CA and Aggressive Sports working together for the good of all the airsoft community and players. My hats off to Justin and his crew. We at 21CA look forward to a long lasting relationship with the guys from Aggressive Sports. As Justin would say, support those who support you.
Thanks again guys, and special thanks to you Justin and Gunny.

I would like to start off by first thanking both downtown and breech for being excellent leaders, this op would not have been as great with out you guys. I would secondy like to say Viva Chiro!! Viva Columbia!! And Viva Juan Valdez. This OP was a super time that was executed with the tact of Justin and the slightly “out there” Gunny, I definitely think that these guys and everyone that helped them out deserve a huge pat on the back. I would like to thank the MAA Paladins for being great teammates and Cifor/Task Force Delta for being ballsy opponents. All in all this was one of the best ops that I attended this year and I would definitely come to another op hosted by Justin and his crew.

On the website for aggressive sports it says November. No actual date, just the month.
