Operation: Crimson Ghost
The year is August 13, 2004 at 0200 hours. Germany moves troops across the polish border and secures ground for its invasion. This incursion comes as a shock to the world. Germany has used the distractions of the War on Terror, North Korea, and the Russian/ Chechnyan conflict to equip their army for an invasion. However, Germany does not see this as an invasion, they see it as reclaiming land that has always been theirs… the Rhineland. Germany decides to not make the mistakes of the past. They wait for the opportune moment. The time to strike is now when most of the worlds armies are focused on Iraq, their money supplies running low, and their populous divided by opinions. It is time for Germany to reclaim their borders and bring Europe to its knees.
August 14 at 0900 hours. US and British forces send in their elite units on a reconnaissance mission. They are to make estimations of the German forces and take on targets of opportunity. They are the tip of the spear… the spear they pray Germany will fall on.
