i have narrowed it down to those 4 guns and i am just looking for someone who knows anything to compare any 2 of them. I plan to play outdoors more then indoors, if that helps.
sorry but i meant to type TM M16A2...
Thanks in advanced...

i say, find someone that has one, or go to WTS or a similar walk-in store, and try them out, see which one feels better in your hands, or what looks better in person, and if you like the way it shoots, i would personally go with CA though

I think that the m16a2 would shoot farther, perhaps more accurate because it has the longest barel out of the 4 guns... And the m4a1 has had reports of problems when you shoot full auto at long distances. Havnt had too much of a problem with it but they say the bb drops... its all up to choice, they all have good and what has good always has bad... m16 is also long! big! and harder to move with than the shorter m16 variants

I think I have made my choice on my gun. I think I'm going to get the CA M15A4 Tac Carbine not because it got 3 of 6 votes but because it has the EG1000 motor and can hold the larger type battery. If I have a problem with it I will just get an upgrade, but not right away because I read in 'newbie discussion' that a noob shouldn't get upgrades right away. I'll play stock for a while and if i see something that needs to be done to better me in the sport I will attend to it as needed. Thanks for posting to help me out.

Well in reality the M15 is upgraded some to begin with. And to a relativly safe level, 350fps ish. Though the newer ones(SPC, RIS) are upgraded to 310 the one your speaking about should shoot around 350, and since it's upgraded(even mildly) understand it will probably not last as long as a stock TM, hell we don't even know if it were shooting at 260ish if they would outlast a TM. But the point is it is a very solid gun, and as long as your willing to learn how to fix things if they do go wrong it should be a fine purchase. Though if your impatient and unwilling to learn those things get a TM, and save yourself the stress.

I would also personally take an AK over an M16 anyday, the reason being my past experiences with the M16, almost every single one of them bad. Not to mention I like being unique because everybody and their cousin's cousin owns some sort of an M16. It is his decision, not yours or mine, to join the numberless hords who believe in their M16s.

I believe everyone and their brother has an M4 because its a gun that is good! When i see an M4 i think... valient hero... when i see an AK i think terrorist... And with all that stuff goin on in iraq i think of black hawk down... guys with aks chasing guys with m4's m16's.... I think that may be 1 reason the aks arnt as popular...

its exactly the opposite in real life. The AK-47 is the most used weapon in the world. It has over 5 million copies and variations, just thought id add my 2 cents\a pearl of wisdom\trivial fact

Im thinkin in the US gov, sure a lot of other places use it as the standard issue, But when i think of an elite player the m4 comes to mind, Cause how many swat guys use an AK? How about seals... I didnt think any of them use the AK.... Correct me please if im wrong
