Yes, the location is actually in Muskegon, less than 1 mile from US-31 Oh, by mid-Michigan I thought you meant 'mid' in the East/West sense . . . but I will hopefully be there to make my Michigan Airsot battle debut, pending work sechudle, of course. Also, does anyone in the SE MI area want to arrange a carpool to this event? PM me, over 18 only, please.

Bigmack - thanks, your right
anyway, Mid michigan (east to west) WAS our initial location, but it fell thru.
and I have spent the last few days tracking down MRE's..... with the war, the plants are on Maximum production to keep up with our troops (didn't factor that in, but they say, I should be able to get my order filled in time for the event) ;D

hmmm, that brings up a good point, I can knock $6 aday off the registration if we nix the MRE's, I could put it in the registration, like a shopping cart item, (check the box to include MRE, or something like that.)
Then you just bring your own lunch (we will not be stopping for a lunch break the skirmish is going to continue non-stop, so you'll have to eat were you are.
what do you think?
Include the MRE in the price, or just make it an option at registration for the guys who want the whole Milsim feeling........pooping schedule and all (I never had a problem with em, guess some guys are just more "sensitive")
BTW, the price is just set to cover costs, not bring in a profit. For just the MRE's I will lay down $1190. and that is not counting the field costs, shirts, props, pyro, avgas, etc....

I think having the option of getting MRE's for an extra $6 would be a great idea, Mike. The more options you can give people the better.

well, it just adds up that way. 120 people x two days = 240 meals (of course i have to buy in cases, and more specifically half pallets) Its not that big a deal, I didn't put out the cash yet on the food, until I see how many we have coming, etc.... I figure we have been averaging about 40 on the indoor deals all winter. and they have been different groups of guys (last one MAN, SEMTEX, and other teams didn't show and we still had 35) so I think it will fill up quite well. 100 or so. I kinda go on.........if you build it, they will come. ;D remember, I am a youth pastor, been planning events, and stuff for groups from 20 - 500 for years now. I kinda know the ins and outs of not getting burned financially and putting on a good event. edited: Of course I still want you to sign up.....(APR 25th)

This is going to be so sweet, but just one question, is this going to be a optional 42 hour airsoft battle or just from early to late. It would put a sweet spin on things if each seperate team had its own safe zone and could come out to shoot whenever desired, that way you can sleep if desired or play the bat and do some night hunting!!!

Mini,
That doesn't sound like too bad of an idea if I do say so myself... of course, someone would have to be monitoring the emergency and official frequencies 24 hrs. a day if we did something like that. However, my team and I would be out there the entire event, cept' for food breaks hehe. ;D ... As far as the pyros, I'm not sure if Mike has determined yet, seeing as his page that he has put up says "There may be pyrotechnics used in this skirmish... "

Ok, a few answers are listed on the pages already.....but HEREthere is scheduled time slots and a late night time slot for a few night objectives, then the next day we have a new time start and new objectives, depending on how many people sign up for both days, will dictate whether or not the previous days events (failures/successes) will affect the next days objectives or it will run like two independent skirmishes. Our intent is to link the two, but again it will depend on the number of 2-day players. We talked about doing the all night thing, but opted for some down time so the quality of play will be good for the next day, and face it, some of us older players will need our rest..... As for the pryotechnics, we have some mobile launchers (model rockets), Smoke pits, just to add effect in some areas, an Artillery cannon, and some sound effects tracks, also working on a few flares for the night ops, but that is the only one in questions so far.
