well guys and gals, it's time for the ol' Rogue to put his two bits in! it's been a week and i'm still half whooped from it all but then i'm twice as old as most of ya's! to sum it up , i had a blast, i always do cuz i just can't find it in my roguish heart to be very critical of people who plan for months how to let me and the rest of ya go out in the woods and shoot the livin hell outa each other and enjoy doing it!! i agree, the first couple hours were kinda quiet but for me it was like opening day in november, you get set and wait and see what happens, the anticipation of the opening fire fight is almost overwelming! on a wall in my "war room" i have a poster "murphy's law for combat" and without a doubt almost every law was seen at work during our 2 day adventure. i'm sure mike ,clayton and gabe were not thinking along those lines in the planning but the same things happen wether it's paintball,air-soft , or real steel. i was in bravo squad-usa and we had a great team, we sat out at point one for a long time and were sure the french were coming any minute , we probed, scouted ,pulled back and checked our "6" but we followed orders and stayed put. not everyone else did and that probably started mr murphy on his way. every thing just multiplys from there but just imagine what its like when you are Tommy Franks and the cinc tells you to go kick iraqi ass! as far as i'm concerned, the planners did a superb job and hope they do it again, i learned a lot and as i'm still new to this sport ,i need to learn some more. i killed two friendlys and was in turn, executed by my commander(advisor) thanks gabe!! also a huge thanks to strikeagle for being an excellant host and team mate and i'm very glad to hear we left the place clean cuz we would very much enjoy being invited back again, good people we is!!!!! just a side note for future reference, i never used a drop of bug repellant and had no bites showing, you girls need to change your after shave!!! haaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!

Man! I can not believe that I missed this! Especially now that I've heard all these cool stories and comments from you guys. Just from curiosity, how many others feel like shooting themselves with their AEG because they missed this event. (And no I will not really do that , no reason to waste the BB and the pain won't be to great either)

It's me. The guy from the bottom of Ohio who won the M16. The NFA's Bravo machinegunner, whose goggles kept fogging up. Thanks to WTS for having the event, and thanks to NFA Charlie for dragging me along with you on Day 1. Another hour at 7 would have killed me. (If you aren't interested in my personal story, stop here.) I saw nothing wrong with the first day. Bravo had recon to start with, and even though I could barely make them out, the hand signals only added a nice touch. We took a snapshot of 9, and sent runners back to base. The whole time, the realistic radio chatter in my ear kept me updated on Alpha's assaults and such. At that point, we defended 7. For a very long time. That's my only negative. I was assigned to defend it even after Bravo pulled out, and ended up a while later, moving out with Charlie. I ended up being one of the US hated people entrenched near the gas facility at 10. That battle was great. I didn't quite understand the suicidal "CHARGE!"....was that a distraction for the team taking our right flank? The night mission...my goggles reached a point of total blindness, plus the darkness....I ended up lost and alone. I moved around, walking towards lights, only to have them fire at me, and eventually just went back to the safe area. So, night was the worst, if you ask me. Day two was great. When we were nuking New York, I was the one who thought "5 feet from the treeline," meant 5 feet from the opposite treeline. Halfway across the field, mid-falling-prone, I was hit....and couldn't find my kill rag. That sucked. Americans are merciless. The attack on the US base...(the successful one)..seemed to put us in a vietnam movie. The ferned forest with people popping up and down, and Alpha sleeping on the top of the enemy tent...very interesting. Final battle was...a bit cheap....we came screaming like barbarians (Frenchmen) and yelling random Monty Python curses, only to be met with a confused "We're not ready," group of US soldiers. The second time around, we were expecting a firefight. They hid, Clayton threw a "BB grenade", and we ended up looking around in a field. I assumed that they had gone into the treeline, breaking the rule, ending the game. Standing directly in the middle, I turned my back just as they came over the hill. I managed to get off 2-3 rounds on full auto. Nice job, US. Overall, it was worth a late registration, 37 bucks, and a nine hour drive. My US friend may not have thought so, but he didn't win an M16.
P.S. I need gas M16 mags. I didn't take the offer at the time, because I didn't hear it. The M16's call was too loud. I should have just taken BDU shorts...they don't require mags.

WOW!
Good t' hear everyting's Irie! (a little leftover Jamaican Patois Dialect for ya!)
I was very confident in Gabe, Don, & Claytons ability to pull it off, while I was in Jamaica, but you always get a little nervous when you are not physically there to help out or give direction.
I have heard that Gabe and Don are planning something for the end of July in the same field, but only a one day event. (maybe I can get the air drops done in this one)
I might actually play in that one! ;D
