Naaaah, the power's not there, from what I hear, but The QProject has an M249, fully upgraded to 350, for $1600.

Hey thats the most stratigy that you can get out of paintball unless its a bunch of airsofters or ex-military men/women. P.S. when i play paintball i like to freeze my paintballs..It makes the n00bs hurt that much more P.P.S. I hope I'm too lazy to spell a full word out. Please mock me. dark angel sells soon so u can get [glow=blue,2,300]Airsoft Goodies[/glow]

To Savage and the rest of charlie squad:
Sorry about my flame there. I was just so angered at several things over the course of the game. On one hand you have people being complaining about a lack of combat. On the other, you have people who have been to other senarios and complain about a lack of realism. Well three hours with no combat, and siezing objectives without resistance are all part off life. And yes units totally failing to accomplish their objectives are all part of the real world. You guys just became a simple target for my anger. So with that, I truly apoligize and hope this doesn't create any animosity.

For what it's worth Snip, you get no animosity from me. Looking forward to the next event with ya, hopefully it will go a bit smoother now that the former members of Charlie have a little more experience.

I just had a thought about the no combat for 3 hours thing:) When they went into Iraq they had almost no resitance for allot of the captures on the way in:) Not that it's more exciting but hell it's realism:)

Realism over action anyday!!!
Freezing paintballs is chicken s***! It is dangerous and gutless. If I was (or is) hit by a frozen paintball or metal BB I'm throwing down... (Vale Tudo here I come)

SuperKAZ, you do know that some .43g and heavier AIRSOFT BBs are metal or at least metal coated?

Yeah but most fields you can't use them at. I personally won't be allowing them on my field. If you want something heavier then you better find it in plastic:)

Digicon makes .43's and .36's that are supposedly graphite coated, hence the dull gray color. I use the .43's and they deform and crack just like their lesser weight bb brothers. One company makes a .90 gram all metal bb, but I have yet to hear of anyone using them at any MiA event.

Ive changed my mind on several things about the event. Well, this was the first super big skirmish ive been to, all the others were backyard and at M40 in holland. So I was used to lots of action, mainly because the fields were smaller. So I came to the event expecting that kind of game, which dident happen on day 1. But, now that I know that large events are slower, in many cases because the field is large. In short, airsoft is all about realism, and even times of no-combat are realisic. As long as there is the potential for a large fire fight I shouldent be dissapointed even if I see only a little action, Thanks!

Not that it's more exciting but hell it's realism:) That's what Snip kept telling me so I'd quit my grumbling. I had to admit he was right on that.

That lack of action and boredom does serve one factor of realism very well - it makes you not pay attention to your surroundings. Few things are more endearing than totally getting the drop on a bunch of bored, complacent, lazy guys "defending" an objective. It's tough to maintain high levels of alertness for long periods of time, and good players will exploit this (if the scenario permits).
Oh, and Mike, the word is "probably." Sound it out. That's right.
