Normally I tend not to post events that share the same date as another event, but since they're both on opposite sides of the state I figure they'll both be generating a different croud.
One thing to note about the location of this event is that the land being played on apparently doesn't belong to anyone, therefore no permission to play has been given. I've been told the police will be notified of the event, but still if you do choose to attend you'll be doing so at your own risk.

Hey everyone we are looking to HOST a FREE event mostlikely Saturday October 11th.
I had realised that it would be on the same date as Operation: Pegasus Wind (Oct. 11th 03) However TGAS wants to start hosting events and hope that people who didnt want to travel to holland would consider playing in brighton.
We will be playing on an island. It is about the size of 1 or 2 football feilds therefore we are only looking for 18 guys (If we can get that many!) We are puttin our heads together and are thinking of some good fun events that will simulate the real thing fairly well!
We are looking to play from around 11am till 4 pm. The island is wooded and has shrubs on the ground for fullage, Looks densly wooded. We will not plan to stop to eat food however if u want to bring food you can eat when u want.

**note these pictures were taken in 1998 by the michigan gov. The lake water level has gone down about 2 feet sence then thus the island is bigger around the edges... it also looks as if the south east corner of the (big island) is not connected, With the low water level it is a dry path (there are 2 islands however*
