Doh!...well that explains it all. Evercrack has claimed yet another victim. Bow ye heads good sirs and say a prayer, we have a teammate down.

yeah i see that message a lot too. but he is on AOL itll just be a month before that phone bill catches up to him and he returns to the real world. I was just thinking- it costs about the same to play airsoft for a day as a day of online stuff if youve got dialup service.

hoi yoooo, sorry all I have been gone for so long. School has really kept me busy, plus the recent addition of Dark Age of Camelot to my gaming addiction, all adds up to no time to even come and watch over these boards. ARG! I am still gunned up for airsoft a lot-- I recently played some paintball *ducks and covers*, and am so geared for a good airsoft match. How did the last one go? From what I understood everyone didnt have aeg's....which would kinda ruin things it seems for me. Anyways I hope you guys get this thing event together (alas I wish I could make it). I will try to stay updated on the boards more, but finals and research papers are starting to be due, and that means less time.

I'm pretty sure everyone had AEGs but Newman switched to his springer sidearm because his battery died though. And Ballista had his M11 and Viking had his Tac Master.

Der..........no! Sorry SickPointe, but you've got it wrong. My battery never died, Viking's did, he just didn't play after his died. Ballista's M11 didn't work that well (on and off), and neither did his gas rat-flail, so he was stuck kinda. Viking lent his brother the Tac Master and it was fine. Retraw's AEG was fine the entire time in addition to mine and Hadoken. You might've been thinking about when I ran out of bbs, because I lent my other hi-cap to Hadoken. I dropped my MP5(figuratively speaking) and used my springer, then Ballista handed me his M11 and I blasted away Hadoken from five feet. Lafs! ;D

It must be addressed NOW: Viking has not posted on these forums since...I dunno...and we have a problem here, guys! Somehow we need to contact him, e-mail, the boards, AIM don't work. Does someone have his phone number or any way of contacting him? If not, we will have to CANCEL the SKIRMISH! There's no way Hadoken, Ballista, myself, or anyone else can afford to drive all the way to Howell and find out: A-he's in the hospital, B-he's dead (;D or ), C-he has no time for Airsoft anymore and is working his butt off, D-family crisis and he's in another state, or finally E-on vacation and didn't tell us??? Ok ok I'm being a little pessimistic (yeah yeah, a lot), but we do have to expect the worst. Someone must know, or can find out, how to get in touch with him.

Viking's number is unlisted (as far as I can tell). I tried whitepages.com and inputted his name (Charles Calvin) and came up dry. He lives with his father, but I have no idea what his name would be. I tried his address (235 E Coon Lake Rd., Howell) and that also came up dry. I'm guessing after doing this that he's unlisted (duh). Since there's no other way to contact him, we're stuck. Hadoken and everyone, we need to find another place to play!

We should have sent him a letter 2 weeks ago when he first went missing, since all you have is his street address Maybe he is locked in his basement or something, who knows... Now we have to decide if we want to try and find another place to play during the winter, or wait and take time finding a good place to play when it's warmer. I'm leaning more towards waiting till the end of winter, even though that means 2 or 3 months of no Airsoft

I hope Viking has a GOOD reason for not posting in a while. You can't set up an event and then vanish leaving everyone just sitting around waiting for news and details. I know a lot of us have spent quite a lot of money to get our guns and gear ready for the skirmish and if the event doesn't happen I'm sure most of you will be really pissed. I know I will, I really could have used the money for other things. Since December 1st is just a couple days away now I don't think we'll be able to find another location by then. Viking won't reply to my emails or ICQ messages, and the only other person who might be able to help us with some land to skirmish on (Janus) doesn't like replying to my emails either. So i guess we're screwed. If Viking really IS playing Evercrack, I swear I'll go over there and rip that CD to shreds with a swift full-auto burst.

Damn straight Hado, I know I've spent close to $500 just this month on airsoft stuffs. And that's a hell of a lot of cash when you have no job I'm getting kind of worried about Viking though. I mean, would he really not be able to pop in and leave a quick update if there was nothing wrong? Either he's dead, out of the country, or just completely done with airsoft now. Hell, even if he is just ignoring us, I'd hope that at least he would have enough common courtesy to let us know not to get our hopes up for an event. I don't know who lives closest to him, but I'd be willing to chip in for gas money if they were willing to go knock on his door and see what the feck is going on...

Well I did see his name logged in on the boards a week or so ago. I thought he was back and ready to post again. Sheesh, even if I was too sick to do anything I'd still crawl to the computer and let you guys know what's going on. And for Viking it should be easy, his frickin bed is RIGHT next to his puter. BAH! I just sent another email to Janus, hopefully he'll reply this time and maybe we can get a game going down by his place. Battle Creek is quite the trip though.

Janus does not reply to his e-mail within a couple weeks, Hadoken! He told me that he has another e-mail address that he always checks, and barely ever checks his Yahoo account (which you sent it to, I just know it). BEING STUPID NEWMAN, I forgot to ask him what his other e-mail address is...dang it. Good luck, though, maybe he'll check it soon. EDIT-about Viking and the skirmish, if I could drive on my own (I only have a permit right now) I'd high-tail it up to Howell and see what's happening. Guys, we do have to expect the worst. Could someone check the obituaries or however the hell you find out if someone's dead...his name was Charles Calvin. I don't really have the heart to do it, unless noone else will. Hopefully, he's not dead (obviously)! About the skirmish, I think we should find another place to play, even if Janus can't have us. Does anyone know a place? JackStraw has some place to play (I think), but that's probably like 4 hours away. I can't play 4 hours away.

Well i doubt he's dead, thats just nutty. Hmmm..hehe but considering the way he drives it IS a possibility. I think I remember Janus saying something about his other email address over on the Airsoft Players boards so I'll go and check there. The place Jackstraw told us about does look good, I've seen pictures and it would be GREAT to play on. The only problem is the distance, I'm not sure how many of us will want to make the 4 hour trip. Arrgh.
