I suppose I may have to take that 8th spot ;D I'm wondering if anyone else that's going is from closer to where I live (Adrian). I was thinking I could drive and meet them, then either drive or ride the rest of the way together. If not I will just have to drive all by myself for 2 hours  I'm still in the process of getting my gear together, so I might end up playing in my bath robe...or not. Hopefully I'll get some bdu's by then, but I also need boots, more mags, maybe another battery, and more ammo. Sigh, the life of an airsoft addict. Could you maybe email me a more specific location of where this will go down? I would like to get some idea of how long and where I'm going to be driving. Oh, and thanks for letting us crash at your pad |

Who are the eight people? I'm not even sure that Viking has me included, so I was wondering if anyone knows who's going. I e-mailed Viking about it at 3:45 today or so and I bet he's be a' werking, because no e-mail back yet.

Forgot about those other guys...all I remembered was Hadoken, Ballista, Viking. Hmm....he has a (?) after Hadoken, Ballista, Newman (me!), so I hope my e-mail got to him and told him that I'd be coming. /me hopes for the best 8)

Wow sorry guys I forgot about this thread. Well to clarify that statement of my ninny of a father: He is 53 and hates the internet so I have a slim chance of ever being able to play with you guys.  *Sigh* Ah well. Locutus for some reason he feels better about me playing at Airsoft Ohio... Dont ask me why hes just weird. Oh well. Sorry if that offended you Viking hes just doesnt want me to get raped by a 64 year old guy with the allias of: "The Squirrel Master" or something like that (Alla Half Baked) Oh well maybe I can sneak a ride up to one of the skirmishes with my neighbor HiGhGrOuNd#1. |

i know what you mean, my parents were like that for a while when i stated playing with CIA occasionally. and im fuking 17 too. i justify myself by carrying around my glock gassed and loaded. since i can drive it really souldnt be a concern anyway since i can just leave. but whatever. parents are paranoid. they wouldnt let me buy an upgraded mc51 from a guy in wheaton (30 min away) who i had never met. i wasnt allowed to send a money order and let him send it, i would have had to meet him even though if he stiffed me its not a big deal since i have his name, email, ebay account and address.damn paranoid... oh well.

The guns I've purchased lately were all previously owned (and hardly used, hehehe), and I was not about to transfer funds til I'd inspected & tested them, no matter how much info I had on the seller. For one 2-gun buy I even wrote a purchase agreement, but the parent would not ship the guns for me to approve til I sent the funds. www.tradenable.com saved this great deal, and played a role in my latest. I highly recommend it, esp. for airsoft guns since they can see some very hard use & abuse, and receive some pretty funky upgrades. |
