Guys whats the big deal? I mean if you don't like it thats fine but why hate on it so? I mean yea it looks like a frankengun in the largest sense of the word but no one is forcing you to buy it. Its not like there aren't traditional style Aks commerically available.
Now if that was the case that the normal AK wasn't available because of things like this than yea I would understand all the hate.

The only counter argument I could see here, is that in order to make this abomination they took time away from designing something useful/one of the many guns not yet visited in the replica community. |

These abominations of guns are a bad influence on people, just look at what happened Russia. If these things never existed, the AK-12 would have never came to be in it's current state.

(Pic) They do usually always look limp in their front end areas though. I do admit, that doesn't look too bad. It's when the handguards, FSP, and 14.5" barrel are added that they look horrid. That looks like a conceptual "AK-SD". I think the reason they look limp is because the bottom of the lower receiver and the top metal cover aren't parallel, and people look at the barrel and lower receiver, and think it's hanging down. Or the conversion could just suck and not support the weight of the new front assembly. |

What? It's an ugly gun thread, and those guns are ugly. A G36 with an acog? An M14 with, what looks to be, teflon tape holding it together and a fucked up front sight.
