You're going to have a problem with anybody who wears contact lenses. We need to be able to remove our goggles to remove our lenses to sleep. There really isn't two ways around it. Sleeping in contacts can harm your eyes, and you've still got to take them out the next morning because they're excruciatingly painful if you've slept in them. I'm also concerned about sleeping arrangements on a field this small. Getting from one ridge to the other only takes a matter of minutes. You can't exactly hide your camp, and let's be honest, one team is going to be shit when it comes to defending their camp. You might be better off allowing out of play sleeping. So guys can keep the game going all night, but catch a few winks when you need them. great idea...wear glasses...

I'm concerned about the ammunition situation. So we're allowed to use our own as long as we carry it? Because if needed, I can carry a s**t ton. I have a very tight bore and would only really trust the ammunition I use. What brand and specs of ammunition might you be offering at the game though? Also, will there be limitations on NV devices? Will FLIR be allowed? Will home made claymores be permitted? (Pictures of these devices in my photo thread) Any call on the 'Bang rule' or if faux knives will be needed or just a touch?

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking Shadow... Ammunition limits? Etc? I will do a quick run-down here.
- Ammunition beyond what you start with will be provided by the hosting party. - Players must adhere do their ammunition capacities, based on what they are; Rifleman (300), Support (1,000), Sniper/DMR (100). - We will be providing AirVenturi or TSD brand ammunition. As for the weights, most like .20 gram or .25 gram.
- NVG and IR will be allowed, however severe limitations will apply if the moderators feel it's needed. - No bang kills will be allowed. - As for homemade claymores, I would need to see it in person to make the final decision.

NVG is allowed, but as the game progresses we have to change or modify the rules based on how the game flows.

JMille070, There never was any squad registration for this event. I think you may be getting this event confused with another. Just a friendly reminder on our grammar rules, be sure to capitalize the first letter of your sentence.

grammar is overrated. you should do a squad registration at a discount. might bring up a high turn out if people can save a little bit of money. just an idea.

JMille070, good luck with that post....
Canto, Rednight and I have discussed the issue of people sleeping during a game before and may have some ideas to springboard from. We discussed having the tents or whatever behind tarps or some barrier to help prevent stray BBs from striking non-active players while they rest. This wouldn't be a 100% guarantee but it may help against those random few. I know this whould be difficult to have enough to cover a large area may be impractical. It's just a thought. Also, those who are in the camp may have signs/targets on a post with their names on it that they post while entering the camp and remove when leaving. If the other team is able to peg that sign/target, that counts as a hit for that player. This may help prevent those who are resting from being struck and still allow their participation in the game even when they aren't playing. The sign could be a pie plate with their name written so that the hit would be audible and a mark might remain. I hope what I say may assist you and I will try to keep thinking of some way to help contribute.

This sounds awesome! I will definitely be going, most likely SOG. Is this a Vietnam Era theme or anything goes?
Based on what you are saying, all rifleman start out with 300 rounds ONLY. So for most people that will be either 1 hicap or 3 mids. Whats preventing people from loading up 10 mags besides honesty?
What about tracer ammo? It sounds like we can bring whatever ammo we want on to the field with us as long as its not loaded into a magazine?
