I'm looking to do a CIA style load out but I dont know where to begin? I have seen photos and they range from anything from full camo to jeans and an Adidas hoodie. Im just a little confused as to waht gear to go with because there are so many things, I dont know if there is a definate load out. If any one here has already done this forgive me. A kit list would be great!

There really is no definite "CIA" loadout. They pretty much use whatever they want as far as I know. Your best bet is going to be to try and dig up some pictures and see what kinds of gear they use, and go off that. Here's a thread from the ODA 561 forum where Troub was looking into an Early 01 to late 02 CIA loadout, that might be a good place to start: oda561.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=impressions&action=display&thread=41

That was my point. They have no actual defined set of gear. I was wondering what would be the best that way so I didnt use just a normal load out and when asked about it, just say "oh, its a CIA op. loadout"
Thanks for the links. Im looking at them right now. I think I'll need a horse!

That's the thing with spooks though. They purposely look as nondescript and low speed as possible, which unfortunately in airsoft, could potentially make you look like the kid who showed up in his street clothes.
But, no reason not to give it a go anyways.

Yeah, Thats my fear. I dont want to go all out on my gear and still look like I just threw a bunch of gear together.
I've seen some pics with tri color desert pants, some sort of fleece jacket and a chest rig. Would this look the part? Maybe just a pair kahkis?

I have a PMC/SPEC-OPS loadout that is some khaki/black boots, pair of worn out jeans, a short sleeve work shirt witha few pockets, a shemagh and a very simple condor PC (one with the open sides). Could probably even simplify it by dropping the PC and going with a battle belt for even lower profile appearence. Like Thor said, it does look like a just off the street look, but that's what actually makes it unique, especially when everyone else is in fatigues and or military type gear.

Also found this thread on another forum I frequent: www.teamsnafu.net/forums/viewtopic.php?id=3284May have some useful info. Basically though, you'll definitely want to pick up an AK47 of some sort, and probably some kind of Chicom chest rig. Get a 4-cell if you can, soak it in boiling hot water, and then jam 2 mags into each cell and stretch it out so you'll be able to carry twice as many mags in the field. Also, go with some kind of hiking boots instead of combat boots. And get a pakol if you're planning on looking like you're in the 'stan. Other than that, fill in the gaps at your leisure.

Not that there are huge differences but I've always been more partial to a 74 rather that a 47. Also, shamagh, should I look into more colorful local looking types? I beleive I read that on one of your links. If I find some stuff, Ill put a list together for you guys to look at. www.ebairsoft.com/cordura-lbt0292d-seal-chest-khaki-p-1965.htmlSaw this in a link, would this do? Im also looking into the chicom rig. EDIT:Anybody have any good ak brands. Me being a person who has never owned one is a little confused.

Eh, that rig you linked is probably a bit high speed for the look you'd be going for. And a 47 is going to look more correct, especially if you go with a 47S or a wire-stock Romanian AK (called an AIMS). 74's are mostly used by the Russians, and maybe a few other ex-Soviet bloc militaries, but the 47 is by and large far more prevalent around the world. Not that you wouldn't ever see an AK74 skeezing around in Afghanistan, but you're much more likely to see a 47. For the shemagh, it's going to look most realistic if you go with a white and black one, honestly. Red and white isn't really seen in that part of the world, some of the other colors you find (tan/black, od/black, etc) might be, but white and black is probably your best bet if you're going with one. I'd order this one, personally: www.alhannah.com/products/me453.htmlAnd get one of these too, a pakol: www.alhannah.com/products/me440.htmlFor what they cost, go authentic, because they're only a few bucks more than the cheapo knockoffs you see anyways. EDIT: Just saw your question about AK brands, go with a Dboys/Kalash. This one would do nicely: www.airsoftglobal.com/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=245&products_id=10039

Honestly, the worst part about the CIA rig is if you stay true, you're gonna end up not having enough gear to carry magazines and everything you need on the field. They really don't wear much in terms of gear. As they really aren't their to toe to toe fight with the enemy, that was Special Forces job.
