Hit calling seemed fine to me. I was surprised however that some of the younger kids were 16. I would have guessed many were no older than 14.
Good playing with Tex, Relish, Ehlers, Timm, Great Destroyer, Snik and Marshy. By the second half I was goofing off a lot and our snowball fights were great.

Had a great time with the Big Texy, COG Guys, Echelon, Aztec, Timm, etc. etc. McDonalds was a highlight of the day, as well. Had a lot of fun, looking forward to the next.

Sorry for the delay in the reply here. All of the Armory staff including myself were just dead after the event. Not to mention, one of the mods (Dr. Death) turned 21 at midnight last night. I would like to thank every player who attended for two major reasons. 1) There were zero goggle incidents. 2) Almost none, minimal hit calling (cheating) issues. In almost six years of playing airsoft on a personal level and almost four years of hosting events, I have event hosted and/or attended one in which there was not a single complaint about someone removing their goggles. Michigan Airsoft, you should feel proud. The weather for the event couldn't be better, 35-38 degrees and sunny at times. The only drawback to that was the slush and mud in certain areas of the field. This event went very smoothly, game play kept flowing and the team commanders seemed to be enjoying their roles. I'm glad that our players enjoyed the role players and fighting us. =) GlassArchitect caught almost all of that on film. We are working with Master_Oki to come up with simple medic system.

The medic system already works. Only thing I'd suggest, is instead of new cards EVERY op, I'd invest in a laminating device.

Thanks to everybody who came out, this was an epic event, and I'm already getting started on a (hopefully) equally epic video. Hopefully I'll have it done in a few weeks, depending on when I can get time to work on it. But I'll be sure to post it the moment I'm done

Agreed, when those cards got wet I could see right through them to the writing on the other side. I know myself and Ninja had a great time, even in the second half of the day when we were out numbered at least 2:1. By far one of the best ran events I've ever been to.

Great turnout for a Great event. John already posted all of the Business-ey stuff, So i'll just say I had a blast rollin with the COG guys, Kiki, King (Despite his Celica-Hating), and anyone else in our "Snowball squad", also Mad props to Maverick and Rydeezy. Both GREAT dudes.
Great times, and looking foreward to another!

You know what I think? If you're hit, then sit the F down, or move out of the way if you want to stand around.
Far too often did we come up on the tan team just standing around, while a couple kids hid behind barrels or a bunker. For example: one instance, we were flanking the tan team, and ONE kid was sitting behind a few blue barrels, while 20+ of his teammates were all dead standing around chit chatting in the village. Unfortunately some of the dead got a little upset, and took additional fire, but what can you do when you have a teammate being a dill weed.
Either sit down, or move out of the way if your medic is KIA.

I think if you're hit, you have the 5 min bleedout. No talking unless you're calling for a medic. Also, you have to crouch, sit, squat or get out of the way in some other fashion.

Yeah, it's an issue we have to address...
Either way though, I'm glad everyone enjoyed themselves at the event.

Great event guys. It was a dead heat until half our team left at lunch. We gave you guys a run for your money until then though! I have to say that I had the most and least fun of any event I've been to. The most fun being the game in general, the least fun was getting owned by tan the second half of the day due to roster loss. It is no ones fault, but it's just disheartening. I have to admit though, that we pushed on and did well with a couple of the objectives after lunch. I LOVED the fact that in recognizing our disadvantage, the mods gave us some leighway in our objectives to complete them better. thanks again. To all of you that I shared the field with, it was a great day. To those of you that I played against, it was a great challenge. Thanks again to all michigan airsofters for making my first command at chaos a great one, I hope to do it again in the future. Canto, green team, and armory airsoft.....I applaud you and your devotion to the sport, or whatever this wonderful pastime of ours is. Immortal will always be at your games.

Hey guys I'll have the video up as soon as possible. I will apologize a head of time for most of the shots are very shaky which is understandable for a $35 camera.
P.S. vary little editing will be done as my other computer with my editing software crashed some time ago.
