I had tons of fun. I feel that the objective went very smooth even if it got a little rough for me being tackled, blind folded, arms bound, shoot in the back of the head, and carried a 4th of a mile by the green forces when I was a civilian.
big thumbs up to Armory Airsoft's staff for making another great game.
PS. I can't wait for the video.

As Reaper and others have said, the talking-bleedout is something that didn't necissarily work out to benefit the game. It was logical as per the effects of real combat, but this isn't real combat. It's a game, it's supposed to be fun, and that requires a level of game balance.
The 2nd-shot death idea is an interesting one too, I'd call it an expansion of what happens when you get hit if a medic is healing you.
I've been asked to put together some ideas about the medic system for folks to comment on and review. So I think you'll get your vote Reaper. This may also mean I'll be making an overhaul of the medic system.
How does that sound to people? Seriously, Armory wants to know what you think.
This game didn't suffer so much from poor medics (really you guys did okay) so much as too few medics (arguably). And I know I made my little speech at the second breifing, and I've had several people in the last few games comment on not having me out there (I take that stuff to heart guys, I'm here for you). So we here want to know what you think, PM me about it or wait to see the thread that comes later, but let us know.
And yes, the bounty was technically collected...by Canto!

I definitely agree that another medic for each team would have been beneficial to the game, but it was still fun nonetheless. I had a ton of fun as a medic, even if I didn't get to do a lot of shooting.

I think if the second shot kill rule is put into effect, then the "wounded" person should be able to defend themselves with a sidearm if they have one.

Damn Aztec, I wish I had checked to see if you were going to the event, I could have brought the body armor replica with me. But I have to agree with King on this one, no talking or shooting once you are downed.

Yes, the shooting-while-down thing really does not make it more fair. If anything it only makes job harder. And what you'd end up seeing is a large increase of complaints about confirmation of hits, bleed-outs, and all that jazz.
So no "Last Stand" for us.

I simply suggested that because I don't want someone to come up and shoot me close range and not be able to do anything about it. I do like the idea of the second hit rule either way, but it could still lead to complications such as what happens if you are hit more than once to begin with, and obviously a certain amount of overkill from n00bs.

You're absolutly correct. No one wants to get shot at close range while defenseless. But they don't want to get shot the first time at long range either. A simple knife-kill tag would naturally be better all around, but if you can knife them, why not capture them instead? There's always going to be overkill from the n00bs, but this way players would logically only have to deal with it once or twice, not for the full 5 minutes they're sitting there, which I saw happen yesterday. Kill rag application would do more to help that scenario than anything else anyway.

I did, one was on the "lost and found" table and I did a sweep at the end of the day and got REALLY lucky while looking with Tex and found the other.
Edit: spelling

I had a great time at this event also. I feel like the last two were a little bit more fun but I still enjoyed it very much. A couple things I wanted to point out that I saw were: a lot of people not calling hits, people going out of bounds a lot( just need clearer markings), hardly anyone was using kill rags( Canto asked everyone if they had one), walking dead men revealing attacking positions and a lot of hesitation when attacking enemy positions( aka people hanging back and not helping suppress with fire and presence). I'm guessing a lot of this had to do with the amount of new players and younger players( most are pretty legit). I know ill probably get flamed for this but I expect this at a rec game and not a MILSIM event. It really sucks when your trying to attack a bunker with 8 guys and 3 do all the work while 5 hang back and watch.
But, like I said, I still had a great time. I'm not trying to be elitist but mearly pointing things out that I observed. Tex did a great job commanding as always, Dingo was great also. Wish I would have brought tan camo to switch at half time to help even team numbers out and have more targets to shoot at!
