We would like to announce that Dwayne from DB Customs has officially came through and donated 5 various length barrels. Including one custom square cut for a Tanaka. Top three places will be going home with one barrel as well as two being raffled off for The Wounded Warrior Foundation.
EDIT: We're still accepting applications to be a scout/sniper. If you wish to be a guard just another reminder of things you'll be doing:
-USPC Shooting (Targets and courses in various locations)
-Hunting your most hated rivals
-Having a mini-battle between nearby camps
-Hanging out with friends
We're in desperate need of guards, and we could use a few more snipers. So just a refresher the cost is $35 per applicant. You can go lone sniper or lone spotter if you wish, but included is the following: -Your patch (Take it home afterwords as a momento) -2 MRE's -Various items (Water bottles, campfire stuff, documents of objectives) -A chance to win a 6.01 DB Customs Tightbore -A chance to win a very nice 2 foot tall cup with custom engraving on it that says the bragging rights (Midwest Sniper Cup 2008 1st Place)
Please send money to Orionairsoftevents@Gmail.com if you're interested in either a guard or sniper/spotter or team. If you're a lone sniper looking for a spotter, feel free to post here or PM me and I'll put you on a list to be paired up.
Guards also can pay at the door.
Finally, if you wish to attend this, but don't want the 2 MRE's.. You may take $15 off of your field fee, making it only $20 to compete in the costest per person.
Also, if you wish to attend, but do not want The Midwest Sniper Cup 2008 patch, you may take $5.00 off your field fee, making it $30 a person (Assuming you want the MRE's)
This means as low as a $15.00 field fee per sniper if they provide their own food/water and do not want patches.

Could a moderator please change The Midwest Sniper Cup's location to:
Hole In The Wall Paintball 24262 66th Street Bangor, Michigan 49013
This game is now being removed from the new Military Ops Airsoft field and taken to Armory Airsoft. Applicants willing to be guards will only be asked to pay $10.00, there will be two teams battling while the sniper cup takes place, so for those guards interested in having a pretty strict MilSim style event (No.. really.. This is going to be MilSim) please apply.
For those who are not familiar with the Bangor location, it's maybe 20 minutes from where the old field location was. We just feel that with the Bangor location doing it's recent re-modeling work as well as having the style field that it is, it would suit our snipers best.
I look forward to seeing you all at the event, thank you.

Just wanted to let everyone know we've got 7 teams officially signed up. We will be naming all teams and their appropriate rankings the following Monday after the event.
For those still interested we are accepting applications still, and with 7 teams.. And three of the top placers receiving a 6.01 DB Customs tightbore, and all profits being given to The Wounded Warrior Foundation.. What more reason you could have to want to come?
Looking forward to this event a lot, we should have a good turnout.. And a very fierce competition.

Alright buddy, that's cool. I'll be rolling as a guard myself, so we'll all be doing some good shooting at targets and camping out with binocs looking for you sneaky bastards Anyways, the objectives have been written and placed into a sealed folder stamped "Classified - Eyes only". So.. You guys got your missions, and we're going to pick up the MRE's on Thursday, along with taking care of getting them patches pretty soon here. Cheers and good luck to all teams participating! (We're also still looking for more guards, I believe we have about 7-10 right now.. But a few more couldn't hurt )

Would anyone like to drive me? I live in Macomb, right on M59 and Hayes. I'm gonna be going as a sniper and if you would like to be my spotter that would be awesome.

Good to hear Nexus, I'll throw you on the roster. Remember, price for guards is $10 if you DO NOT want to throw down for the guard bbq during the night, if you want to get in on that.. Just bring an extra $5.00 or bring something food related -Mosin ROSTER[glow=red,2,300]Base 1:[/glow] -Gasmask -Smileyfuk -Mofo -Psvoorheis + 3 (Maybe?) -Nexus + 2 -Skypilot (Maybe?) -CrazyRabbit & Friends (+2-3?)

Caution - Warning - Achtung Due to the huge amount of rainfall we have received I would advise all players both sniper teams and guards to wear boots. Sneakers or tennis shoes are not advised... The field is not waterlogged, but it may be a bit muddy...

I would also like to add, on Mosin and Mirages behalf, that if it where to rain this upcoming weekend during the OP, we will play through it. Unless there is reason for danger, i.e. lighting strikes, Tornado's, asteroids, other wise expect to play through it all.
