Here is my big question for the saterday event. Will all the misions involve the guards? or will there be some sniper on sniper action?
I cant wait for this event.

The missions will reguard taking out high priority targets within the confines of an area. Also, snipers have the green light to engage other snipers while working in the area.
If you're interested in attending, fill out an application and send it to Midwestsnipercup@Gmail.com
Thank you, -Mosin

How many applications do you guys have now? also if me and my spotter dont get accepted as snipers is it possible to switch the application over to gaurds?
Wea re still trying to get some good ops under our belts, and want to play in it no matter what.

About 21 right now, but we're still looking for more blood for this. Again, cutoff date is getting closer.
When we send out the email if you've been accepted, just be ready to send the money, as the cutoff date is two weeks, because we need to get things ready for the actual event.
Looking forward to seeing you all, hopefully some magazines and newspapers will be out there to give some good coverage on it.

Alright guys, figured I should bump this one.
We're still looking for a few more sniper spotter teams, if those slots aren't filled, and you would like to attend as a lone gun, please send an Email to MidwestSniperCup@Gmail.com . Cost for a lone gun is $35, you will receive a patch which is your ticket to the event as well as 2 MRE's, and a good handful of water bottles.
It is highly suggested that you find someone else to go with, however if you cannot, but you would like to attend, you can send in your application.
Also, if you are sort of interested, but unsure on any part of this, feel free to email the same address and ask away, registration for this is going to close in the next week so I figure we might as well try and get a few more people if you'd like a chance at winning the trophy.
Thanks, -Mosin

I have nothing else to say, what was the point of that?
..Anyways.. For those who have a SASS*, but don't have a bolt action, send me a PM if you'd still like to attend. I'm willing to make special exceptions for those who have a tricked out AEG and would like to roll as a sniper. However rules will be strict on you, and expect a personal one on one briefing pre-game with either myself of Mirage about what you can and can't do (Go through a low cap faster than some kids do a high cap.. Rock high caps in the first place.. Other different things of that nature).
Cutoff date is placed this weekend. If any of the registered people cannot attend, we will announce an opening in the event. Currently we've fill 16/20 slots as well as managed to get a sponsership from OML Embroidery as well as DB Customs and MOA. Expect great prizes and a great learning experience for snipers of all skill level.
-Mosin
EDIT: I probably should have explained a SASS.
*SASS: Semi-Automatic Sniper System, such models are contained (But not limited to) SVD, CA25, G3 long barrel models, as well as any number of tricked out AEG's.

Are there still going to be Guards for this event. If so they should not need to put in a application for this, and should have a roster of them up on here as well.

Currently we've got about 10 applications for guards, which is nowhere near what we want. However guards that do show up, or are interested, will be able to do a number of things, and this includes (But is not limited to): -A USPC Style shooting area on the field, for "Training" for you rebel soldiers -Small mini-games in the city (Again.. more training ) -Talking smack to other bases/strongholds in the area -Maintaining patrols/checkpoints and keeping communication strong between the bases And I was possibly considering this: -A small war going on, mid game.. Just little 10 on 10's between strongholds, with sparatic fire and constant movement. Something to give the snipers a little incentive. EDIT: If teams are considering this one seriously, then I'm more than willing to throw discounts or free admissions to those who bring 5-10 people for an individual area. You'll also be getting fed the night before.. Should you decide to show.
